Publisher's summary

In this sequel to President of the Whole Fifth Grade, Brianna navigates her toughest challenge yet: middle school.

Brianna Justice is determined to raise enough money for the big class trip to Washington, DC, but she's up against a lot: classmates who all pretend to be something they're not, a new nemesis determined to run her out of office, and the sinking feeling she's about to lose her two best friends. But just when she begins to lose hope, she comes to realize that sometimes surprises can turn out even better than the best-laid plans.

Great, relatable book that's a joy to listen to!

My kids began listening to this book and I quickly got hooked too! The story itself is really sweet, funny, and strong. The main character is a 6th grade girl that's a real sharp go-getter; she discusses the many adventures of her first semester in 6th grade. She's surrounded by loving, supportive, positive adult characters throughout the book. The main character shows her good and bad sides and how she learned from her mistakes. (And the performer was a great compliment to the storyline!) I'd recommend this book to any kid/YA!!

Delightful and relaxing

It is so easy to get lost in the gritty and deep books on here that you forget that this platform can take you to highs and lows with tales of 6th grade. The narration embodied the characters and the spiraling story. I listened joyfully with my daughter as a little black girl took center stage in a story all too common, even with some uncommon twists.
