This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.

Jake’s commute home takes an unexpected detour, leaving him stranded on a completely different planet. He soon finds himself in a high-tech hospital in a world populated by strange alien races.

However, the new world is not your standard Isekai story. These are not the cliché cute monster girls or the generic characters that look like they were borrowed from a video game.

In this world, he is the primitive, has no magic or cheat abilities, and has no clue what will happen. Jake tries to learn to live in the new world but discovers that not everything is what it seems.

Creative story with a good twist at the end. I'm not a fan of virtual voice though. I feel it detracts from the story and is hard to get used to.

great story

At this time I read( listened to) almost all available books by David Collins and I really liked all of them.I hope that he writes more. They are well written and I find his stories imaginative and novel.

Great imagination

This author has several stories that follow the Isekai genre, but they have unique initiating events that are at once imaginative and make each story stand on it's own. Several have become story series that build on the well developed character personalities and expand on the world he outlined. I listen on my comute and I hope he extends this story in a similar vein Although the story seemed to be wrapped up nicely I found my self wishing to learn more about the world and the friendships that developed organically.

Hope the Author makes this a Series
