Wasn't expecting it to end like that
You just have to read this one right here. If you read the first one you know all the drama that went down baby. Whew now let me tell you Trice is a beast and since my name is TRice too I know that this is TRUE FACTS...lol. I wasn't dissappointed to see how this story played out. WOW! You gotta go read it now BOY O BOY!

I listened to this book on audible.
There was mispronunciation, missing words from the text so the narrator didn’t have them to read aloud, and annoying character narration, especially when singing was involved. The story didn’t flow. There was no clear thought process given to the primary character, Trice. This combined with confusing flashbacks & timelines made for a somewhat chaotic storyline.
Trice went from being an unfulfilled housewife to an adulterous, rapist who was jealous of her eldest daughter. She was a walking contradiction. In the same breath that she could state, she would never hurt her “favorite girl”, she would plot on her daughter. The same thing she did when it came to the rest of the people in her life. It’s hard to believe that a 20 yr old secret can make her behave so callously and childish just from the onset of seeing her ex and the revelation of her mother’s dirty deed. The story was all over the place.
I hold out little hope that in book 3 the mother lack of control over her vagina will not lead her to be in some type of ridiculous situation pregnancy, murder, jail, etc. Especially after she slept with Trae 30 minutes after her wedding. I doubt I read/listen to it. I’m returning books 1 & 2 on audible and will try something else by the author.
