a much better book than the first.

I was ready to give up on audio books after the first book, but I had extra credits left. Compared to the first book, this time the stakes are lower, the style better, the characters more likable. The author has convinced me to hang on to his mortal engines and I'll pick up the next in the series with my next credit.

Really enjoyable series so far

I've enjoyed the first 2 books of the series, but I believe the first had better world building, where the 2nd book seemed to expand on the characters a bit more.

This author really has created a new world in which I have emerged myself in. Not only is the story believable but it gives me goose bumps.

The story you must find out what's next continue s

I just loved the first book. it was such a unique and compelling story I listened to the first one so fast, this one is just about as great and a great second story in a book leaving you interested in how it ends, so we got the last book and I will start it right now as I just finished this one!

Thank you!

imaginative. so well written, that it allows our imagination to give illustrated life to the characters. it is very easy to lose yourself in this series.

the best way to listen to any story is with an open mind. do not try to out maneuver or out wit the story. this is a series that requires an open mind.

my friend argued that "Christopher Columbo" did not discover America in 1924. there's your sign. have a great listen. audible up!
