Lovely and peaceful

What made the experience of listening to Prayers: A Personal Selection the most enjoyable?

The selection of prayers are varied; some from Scripture and some from Crhristian prayer books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

There is no character; well, God, I guess!

What does Michael York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Michael York reads with gentleness and warmth. You can't get that from a book. Also, the music is so peaceful; it makes the prayerful state easier.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

You could not make a film.

Any additional comments?

My husband was also impressed, and asked me to put it on his device.

Beautiful Prayers, Beautifully Narrated

What did you love best about Prayers: A Personal Selection?

I was expecting a compilation of recited prayers, but was pleasantly surprised to discover this collection of prayers expressed thoughtfully and with great feeling. Michael York's voice conveys the emotion and longing that I myself would use in speaking to our Heavenly Father, and is complemented by a background of gentle instrumental music.
This audiobook is perfect for those times when you have the need or desire to speak to God and are having a hard time expressing yourself or putting your thoughts into words. A great way to spend an hour in prayer.
