☦ Pray The Right Way ♱

All About Prayers. Great knowledge is imparted in a short read. Author N A Steil has a winner here as it guides us on one of mankind's oldest and essential practices, 'How to Pray'. Although I am not a Christian, I liked what I heard in the book's 'sample listen', and gifted it to a close friend of mine who was going through some tough family situation. She absolutely loved it and thanked me a lot. That made me curious and I got a copy and listened to it. My friend was 100% right, and I found that a prayer is a prayer, it does not matter to whom you are praying. Also, doing it the right way is the best way. And this book teaches us to pray the right way!

What I liked about the book is, among other things:
- It tells us to pray for our Enemies ~ As God is pleased that way,
- Not to pray like Hypocrites ~ As they pray only for others to see them pray,
- Not to keep Asking & Babbling like Pagans ~ As asking for once is more than enough,
- God does not want Poetry or Big Words from us ~ As a simple prayer is most effective,
- Ask > And, You shall Receive; Seek > And, You shall Find; Knock > And, the door will Open. What more assurance would one need?
- Praying Together is Powerful too.

All this and more opened my eyes to pray the right way.

The narration of Gerard Barnes is excellent as well.

I would recommend this book to everyone: Believers, Non-Believers, Christians & Non-Christians as everyone can learn something from this book. It is the need of the hour.

Concise and digestible

There is a ton of Biblical interpretation on Audible, and it might be hard to decide what to take in. That's why I'm writing this review - choose this author. He writes about the Bible in a way that cuts out all of the poetry and gets down to the truth, so you can get the most out of the Good Book. Great narration as well. Recommend!!

Prayer is good for everyone!

This audiobook is very positive and reminds us of how powerful prayer can be. I like to think that there is almost no one who has never prayed, but sometimes it is easy to lose hope that the prayer will be heard. I like how the author goes into detail on praying aloud and in secret. Great narration as well. This is a great book to listen to on your way to church for worship!

Perfect for anyone wanting to get into prayer

A great introduction for anyone wanting to introduce prayer into their life. The narration was pleasant, and the information was well structured/written. Lots of valuable information for only 30 minutes of listening.

New to Praying? Worth the Listen

If you’re new to praying this will give a quick primer on when, how and why you should pray including for your enemies, which I thought was interesting.

Enlightenment re: Prayer

I enjoyed this audiobook, as I learned about prayer per Matthew, which I found quite interesting. As I don't read the bible, I was unaware of this gospel and how it explained prayer. All of it makes so much sense and was very enlightening! And the narrator did an excellent job!
