Good points, but the scenarios seemed repetitive.

What disappointed you about Powerful Phrases for Dealing with Difficult People?

The book seemed like it looped over and over again.

What could Renee Evenson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Focus on the key points, I found myself trying to identify the exact 325 words and phrases which was almost impossible from an audiobook.

How could the performance have been better?

Just provide a roadmap to conflict resolution, then provide abbreviated examples.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Yes, the general rules were good: try to enter a constructive dialog, start with "I" not "you", don't generalize with "always" and "never", and use specifics. Try to find a compromise.

good book

great material. but...The readers voice is the most annoying voice to listen to. It made it very hard to get through.
Ive listended to over 45 audio books. Im still wondering how the details of making a product properly are forgotten. With Audio books, your readers voice is important.
I found myself focusing more on just trying to make it through the chapters and also turning down the volume. I would then realize I hadnt retained the information given.
