Publisher's Summary

You’ve been deceived. Pornography IS DEFINITELY addicting, and there IS a cure! There is healing!

Just in case you are wondering what to do with a porn addiction, you’re in the best place possible. Pornography has become a massive problem in today’s society, even though, amazingly, many do not regard it as being problematic whatsoever. With this book, you won’t be left in the dark. It discloses the sinister nature of pornography, gives you a rapid, dreadful sneak peek behind the production scenes, and sheds light on the argument of the stated addiction. You will learn about topics such as:

  • How huge the problem has become, and why it’s a difficulty in the first place.
  • The key reasons why pornography hurts you, your family, and the people depicted in the images and videos.
  • Brain psychology and how the overdose of dopamine can shrink your frontal cortex and damage you to the point where you lack common sense.
  • How the cycle of addiction enslaves its victims and keeps them ensnared in its malicious clutches and how stress factors contribute to relapses.
  • Tips and tricks to inverse the process, seek help, evade temptation, and fight the urge to give into the addiction.
  • Hopeful words to give addicts confidence, and various anecdotes to success stories.
  • A short explanation and reference to the 12-step-program that has helped thousands of addicts recover.

With this and much more information and details, you’ll get a grasp of the seriousness of pornography addiction, and at the same time, you’ll understand how to help those who are trying to break free and get their life back on track.

Excellent analogy

It is so common: The problem of porn has become more severe than ever. They show that in the stats in this book. Then the author goes into what happens to brain chemicals, how women get hurt in the porn industry, how it adds to abuse and broken relationships, and most importantly, how you can break away from an addiction. He sincerely expresses his sympathy for those who are caught in the porn trap, and shows it's possible to become free from that destructive habit. Myths are debunked, references and quotes are in there, and the overall tone of the book is something to think about.

Another perspective

The writer really condemns porn, which is obvious if you want to listen to a book about the addiction of it. And I totally agree with the author. He also provides solutions, research, and background on his findings. Very nice.

I liked it

It was full of harsh worth, but reality hit me, like that movie with Nicholas Cage, and the ugly, dark world behind porn came to reveal itself. I can see now why it's worth staying away from porn and I also noticed the tips and methods to help others change their ways when they're trying so hard.

Helps solve porn problems

Aside from the fact that it makes you realize how destructive porn is, it helps the victims both of the addict and the addicts themselves with useful tips.

Too religious. Terrible narrating

He literally spend almost an entire chapter reading a table of search terms. References to the devil are frequent and idiotic.

Don't watch porn

This guide indicates it too: It can destroy you if you're not careful. It's a warning and a solution-provider at the same time.

Nailed it

Yep, he nailed it. He aligned the reasons to quit porn, the process of how we get addicted, and the means to break free and get there faster, without relapsing or looking back.

Very good overview

The author stresses the need for repentance of a porn addiction in the beginning by pointing out the scale and seriousness of the problem. Then he goes over the people that get harmed, brain psychology based on information about neurotransmitters, and solutions to help quit the addiction and get help.
