Hoping for a lot from this series

I am overall psyched for this series, I think that it will be a lot of fun. For this book, the romance seemed a little hollow but there were some great adventure moments and the heroine is just freaking brave and awesome. After the worldbuilding in this book, I think it will pay off in later books. It might be the kind of series that will be fun to read all at once.

I keep going back!

I've listened to this book many times and it never gets old! Excellently written, entertaining, and the narrator is incredible!

Steamy Space Story

Great world building and the characters are awesome. FMC is not a damsel which was also nice, MMC is fierce af and badass. I liked that building trust took time, they didn't just get over their issues.

Exciting with sprinkles of humor and desire

Loved this balance of excitement, humor, and tension of desire. Not knowing if the MFC could fully trust the MMC, skills that she used to navigate through her "on the run" situation and family/house drama and connections kept me wanting more. I absolutely loved the narration overall and the tone used for MMC. I'm looking forward to listening to book two.

Great story

This book was great! I loved the espionage and the major house’s in this developing story. Can’t wait for the next. I think there’s a lot more to know about the looming war and secrets to be exposed.

Loved the story!

Great story, narrator got on my nerves. Sucks they are using the same narrator for each book instead of having a different voice for each, but hopefully she gets better as the series progresses.

Game of Thrones Meets Bridgeton!

Have to admit that I want prepared for this book. It went to a lot of places I wasn't expecting. I mean this book is soft core porn with mutants, space battles, and palace intrigue. It's a wild and fun ride.

Ada is likeable and a very strong character. Loch, a mutant is supposed to be chaotic neutral, but is really chaotic good. This takes away from his character a bit.

The story is well written and the world it builds is intriguing and exciting. It will literally get a ruse out of you. If you know what I mean.

Worth the listen

Good fast paced action, well read - always nice to have a woman read a woman's roll.

Like The Expanse but sexy and a bit less serious

Sexy Expanse with a capable space-princess and burly soldier boy. Good pacing. Good characters and world building.
