WELL WORTH THE TIME & MONEY!!!!!

I am a 3-year student of poker and even though I have read and studied poker math through other sources, but this audiobook brings it all together. Besides a thorough yet easily understandable coverage of the topics the author teaches you how to apply the concepts - something I needed beyond the theory. He provides all of the thoughts that he utilizes for later study refreshment. He has actual play lessons from on-line to illustrate what you are learning and to make cohesive your decision making workflow. And that is the real key to Kevin's teaching - he moves beyond a conceptual framework to poker math play implementation. I am so pleased with this book that I have already purchased three other courses by Kevin. I am VERY judicious not only with my poker learning dollars but also my time invested in taking courses and this course is beyond all my expectations.

What I was looking for

This audiobook was exactly what I was looking for. Topics such as Pot Odds, Hand Equity, Implied Odds, EV, Outs, and others were clearly defined and explained with easy to understand examples. The course is divided into Sections and Lectures. The lectures on average which made it easy to plan and study. Kevin (the author) provides insights from his own playing experince and layers material in a fashion that makes sense. Kevin also includes exercises that is easy to follow. The focus is on the math and the ability to make profitable decisions. I highly recommend this audiobook to any player looking to strengthen their game by using mathmatical insights that impact all aspects of the game from pre-flop to showdown.

To make profitable decisions

I'm learning a lot with this audiobook. I'm trying to apply in my games more and more. But I think I have to learn more about manage my stack and how to bet during the game: early game, middle game and late game. I think I'm good in heads up, but is rare I reach there in MTTs

EXCELLENT COURSE!!!!

This audiobook would be great for beginning poker players who needed to get the basics down for further study. It is also great for those who use it to help establish a better understanding of the principles that are necessary if you are going to play regularly. In my case I learn much more than I thought that would be available. Kevin was able to explain EV and Equity in a simplified form that allow me to do further research to reach my full understanding. These two subjects are the last subject beginners start to learn, but are one the most in good play. The course stuck to the course, no wandering on the subject matter. This is very important to training of complex subject matter. This audiobook is a life time of learning. If you doubt that calculate 52!(factorial.) The Audio quality is superb with great narration. I have already suggested this course to poker players that I know.

Top course Kevin Bailey!

For anybody who doesn't know the math of poker it is like you are simply guessing at what you are doing. I have often wondered how much maths are involved in poker but have never bothered to investigate this. When I saw this course on Audible I immediately thought that is a must for me as I was one of these guessing Poker players. Having watched a lot of poker on various TV channels in the UK Some of them have said , "you don't need to know much maths to be reasonable." So I watched a couple of episodes from them which covered the the rudimentary's but having listened this audiobook now I have realised that I was playing with both hands tied behind my back. I am now itching to do more of Kevin Bailey courses and then possibly getting some tuition from him in the very near future.

This is a great way to learn a concept.

I love how all the poker math is brought together. In a simple way, along with the real life hand scenarios. That is a great way to learn a concept. Now to just put it to work in my own game ;)

Win the game

I bought this book because I always wanted to learn how to play poker. I didn’t know how tricky this game was. There is so much strategy. This book goes into teaching you what the poker ratings are to so that was especially helpful. I realize more now that there is an art at bluffing too. Learning to read people is fun anyway but this book goes into detail about reading your opponents so you can win.

Found this book facinating for anyone that is interested in poker advance theory. The author did a great job here. He is competitive, contemplative, humorous, and honest. Good read for anyone.. even if you aren't a card player.
