Publisher's summary

Rob van Horn is a hotshot sports journalist with an instinct for a headline. Taylor O'Brien is a basketball player with a checkered past and regrets. She's not his type. He's her best friend's younger brother. When they clash over a bloody beef tenderloin, there's more at stake than splitting the appetizer. When they go one-on-one on the basketball court Rob makes it clear to everyone that his tastes have changed - at least in women. There's one little problem: an ex-husband who's not what he seems, and a story that turns Rob into a bloodhound, with all clues circling back to Taylor. The more he digs, the more Rob finds that sometimes fate takes dinner and romance to a whole nother level....

The background sucks

This almost made me change my mind about this book. It wasn't the narrator but the background seemed muffled . I enjoyed the story but I don't understand the culture of not being able to accept help when you need it even when you're blessed with good people in your life who only want to see you in a good place and don't judge you.

Well written and well narrated...

I usually shy away from double first person novels, but I liked the synopsis so I gave “Points on a Curve” a listen. I’m very glad that I did. Not only was the story well told, but the narration was exceptional.
It starts as a simple romance, but the plot has many twists to keep your interest. I almost managed to finish it in a single session, however, daily life got in the way. Blast, it took three sessions to complete. The characters were lifelike, with all the daily strife of work, school and money (or lack thereof) that affect us all. The voice of the narrator leant itself to the action, with great enunciation and wonderful flow during the faster action.
Good Job!

Hot and Humorous

Well written and entertaining, many laugh out loud moments. The narration is wonderful. Some gratuitous language but not a deal breaker for me.
