During the hearing for Alex Murdaugh's murder charge, the State and his defense team agreed on a gag order for all motions filed by either side. The Judge decided to reject their proposal. Our legal analyst, John Snyder, explains to us what that means. John also discusses whether he believes Murdaugh will face the death penalty, what the Slayer Statute is, and if Maggie did hire a divorce attorney, does that attorney have to come forward. Russell Lafitte, Alex's banker friend, is indicted federally for among other things money laundering. We break down the charges and how allegedly he and Alex worked together to steal millions of dollars. Plus, listener email and Facebook comments and questions. Learn more about your ad choices. We discuss the latest leaks on what happened the night Maggie and Paul Murdaugh were murdered. People Magazine and the Wall Street Journal wrote about things they have uncovered about that fateful night. We see contradictions in information that was released earlier and what came out recently. A lot of things don't line up for us. Plus, we talk with former FBI Special Agent, Bobby Chacon on his theories, and his experience with guns and media leaks. www.bobbychacon.com Learn more about your ad choices. Dumb

I don't want to listen to two people with no expertise or particular knowledge speculate about something that anyone can read about online or watch on the news. I can't believe this is a podcast.

Just Color Commentary

Boring color commentary by amateurs. Make no mistake, they are just telling a story reported by others who have done the actual investigating.

Just Keeps Getting Better

I really am enjoying this podcast. Every time I listen, it gets better. They interview experts in various fields: from a local historian to a legal analyst, an expert on FOIA, and a local reporter who was first on the scene of the murders. It's educational and informative, and, most importantly, factual. I enjoy the conversational format as well; makes for easy listening, like being a guest at a dinner party with well-informed guests discussing the local Murdaugh saga.

Wow, totally unlistenable.
Such an interesting story but these 2 don't seem to know how to properly tell it.

I've listened to other Murdaugh Podcasts

but this one is a step above because it seems more objective than some of the others. No doubt that might irritate some, but for those of us who appreciate fact sharing and not dramatization, this is a great listen.

This is one of the most bizarre stories I've ever listened to. I love it!
