Publisher's Summary

Do you want to start a podcast but you don't know what to say or where to begin? You're not alone. The uncertainty you're feeling stops countless aspiring podcast hosts from recording their first episode.

Creating a good podcast is more complicated than buying some equipment. You've probably read articles about which microphone to buy, which software to use and how to post your podcast on iTunes. Perhaps you've heard some "expert advice" that suggests writing a script or an outline to add some professional polish to your podcast.

But no one tells you how to do it. Podcast: Learn How to Stop Babbling and Start Podcasting Like a Pro is a step-by-step guide to help you develop ideas, write a script or outline for your show, and prepare your podcast.

Nice Basic Intro to Broadcasting

A great way to start your podcast! The information provided is in my opinion not very groundbreaking. However, it is provided in a clear and concise manner that makes this book an excellent source to reference and organize ideas. The greatest attribute in my opinion is the author's clear enthusiasm for the subject matter which is highly contagious. Thank you for your contribution to the podcasting topic!

To the point

This is a “to the point” short guide to good verbal communication.
If you’re a toastmaster, you may already be familiar with most of the content.
If you aren’t, and you’re getting started, this guide is money well spent

Worth the money

Just the right length to get out the information without being repetitive. Narrator is up beat without being over the top. Good job.

Podcast Jitters, Mike helps calm your nerves!

Thank you Mike, you helped me finally make the decision to add on to my local radio with a Pod Cast. I have been doing this with my radio show for over 9 years. plus, I picked up a few new tips, as well. To the listener or reader. If you are thinking about going into Pod Casting start with Mike's book. Common sense, practical and most important to the point guide, yet entertaining not dry at all. I even took a few notes....

Very informative and it is easy to listen to.

I have listened to other books on this subject, but this one breaks it down for the beginner. I learned so much and actually went back and listened to a couple of chapters again. Easy to understand instructions. I am grateful that he wrote this book.

I wish this book was more useful

the only thing I really learned was how to write a script for a podcast. I could've learn this in a two page blog post. it's a short enough book so this is forgiveable. as this is my first book on podcasting, I'll be reading many more.
