Publisher's summary

"Authors Dunn and Raskin return to narrate another rollicking story featuring boisterous best friends Ava and Gen.... [L]isteners will find the characters relatable and hilarious as they converse about their young adult woes and triumphs." (AudioFile)

This program is read by the authors.

Ava and Gen are best friends. Ava knows what she wants and has plans to achieve her goals. Gen...not so much. But no matter how annoying, dramatic, or utterly bananas a two a.m. rant might get - Ava has always been there for Gen, and Gen for Ava. But then, they graduated high school.

Now, they're in the same time zone (although over 1,000 miles apart), and in the real world, and it's the worst, but they still have each other's support. For relationships. Questionable roommates. Internships. And whether or not it's a good idea to take in a feral cat. Through their hilarious, sometimes emotional, conversations, Ava and Gen help each other navigate. But as the two of them start to change, will their friendship survive the distance?

In Please Send Help, the hilarious new audiobook from the New York Times best-selling authors of I Hate Everyone But You, Allison Raskin and Gaby Dunn perfectly capture the voice of young adults looking to find their place in the world, proving no matter how desperate things seem, your best friend is always there to reboot your life and send help.

Great book!

I’ve been a fan of Gaby and Allison for a number of years now. Their body of work is excellent, as is this book. This is exactly the YA novel I wish I had had when I was younger, and I’m excited for this generation to be able to enjoy it.

A great sequel!

The centering of a strong, female friendship was so empowering in I Hate Everyone But You and that momentum has carried through to Please Send Help. Such a fun, quick and heartwarming read- leaves me wanting to see what life has in store for our two girls in their mid-to-late twenties!

Great Listen

Amazing audio, timeless young adult novel proclaiming life, liberty and the pursuit of growing up and becoming an adult. Ava Helmer and Genevieve Goldman release their ambitions through emails and text messages to one - very relatable.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Okay, I read the first book, and it was so-so. I think part of it was my inability to relate to the characters because of their age, but I can relate far better to the same characters at this age. I love how Ava and Gen have grown, both between the novels and during. Their journeys are rough, but their friendship is so sweet. The performance by the authors is gripping. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

good book

I liked this book better than their previous one. however, it's always the ending that makes me not give the book 5 stars. it feels rushed and unclear.
