Very informative

Very informative. Some good suggestions. There were avenues I had not explored thoroughly enough. Bottom line: you have to spend considerable time and effort to get reviews for your book. Point well taken.

Practices what it preaches

This book is about how to get meaningful book reviews. Obviously one of his methods worked: giving out a free copy for review. Since I am indeed typing this, it's hard to argue with the results.

There's nothing groundbreaking in here. There is good information though that one could do well with being reminded of when they're feeling a bit desperate for more exposure. All in all, it feels like a writer with a few years of real world experience is sharing his early hard won lessons. It's similar to what I'd expect to find on a writer's personal blog as a series of articles. I'd expect this to be most valuable to people just starting out.

Some Useful Info

This book succinctly gives good tips on getting book reviews. Some of the suggestions are practical and some are out of the box. I would recommend this book to a person who has never marketed a book before and is just starting on their authorship journey.
