Placental Cancer Survivor : Cindy Lupica : Cancer Survivor Stories

Cindy Lupica is a Choriocarcinoma/GTN survivor. She is also an Awareness advocate, Author, ihadcancer Ambassador and NCSD speaker. She was diagnosed with cancer on February 1st, 2014. She started having initial symptoms like contractions during 25 weeks of gestational period. After her baby girl was born at 39 weeks, she started having bleeding. After further tests, It was diagnosed as Choriocarcinoma. She underwent chemotherapy as a part of the treatment. She is very blessed to have a supportive family and friends throughout the treatment. She says, "It's important to listen to other stories as it gives you a purpose to hold on".
