Well this was fun

This was amazingly really good. I got hooked from the start and couldn’t stop listening. The narrators are freaking amazing.

Great book!

I sure hope this continues as a series.
The MC gets killed running drugs to the States on his boat and a couple of gods from another world "awaken" him on it.
Story keeps you entranced the entire time.
The MC isn't the only one taken from our world but most of the others he meets are evil a**holes working for an evil god.
The narrators do a great job.
It's too bad that this isn't a harem book because Zephyr's voice is so smooth that if I were of the panty wearing gender, they would have been moist the whole book.
This is definitely not a book to miss if you are a LitRPG fan.

A really fun and casual gamelit story!

The author brings cool new ideas to the table like pirate wizards, unique horn paladin and a barbarian griffin.

World building 4.5/5 very interesting and developed places and characters.

Story idea: 5/5 really enjoyed the pirates and ship battles.

Magic system: 4/5 simple and good, but the exp feels pointless in it

Characters: 4.5/5 fun. Interesting and relatable characters

Narrators: 5/5 for the main narrator, it's like being in the middle of the fight with his sound narrations.

2.5/5 for the second one… it's really hard to tell between her characters.


All in all 4.5 very recommended

Seriously though hold fast! This book is hella fun in the sun haha. definitely worth giving this book a listen if you like pirates,magic, or anything fun really!

So good. So worth the credit!

I'll admit that I didn't know what to expect out of this book, but the blurb caught me. I'm glad it did. Caleb is no goodie 2 shoes, Paladin like do-gooder. The man has a past. It might be a little foggy, but he definitely has a checkered past. It's a good thing too since he has some bad guys to deal with. Shady is exactly how you come after bad guys. You sneak up and catch them off guard, you do the unexpected and you don't play by their playbook. There is a lot of action, adventure, travel and a decent amount of spice.

Theodore Zephyr and Julia Walker were perfect voices for this book, and I can't wait until we see what happens in book 2.
