Critic Reviews

"Carlo Collodi's classic Pinocchio comes to life again...The advantage of having an unabridged audio format is the ability to appreciate Collodi's subtle nuances and Pinocchio's extensive adventures." (Bookwatch)

Great Unabridged Version

Love it! My kids are loving this version too. The unabridged version is so much better than the Disney movie and worth the read.

Not Disney!

Think you know the story? You're probably wrong. What a fantastic tale! Disney should be flogged for dumbing down this wonderful and educational warning tale.

Superior to Disney.

Antequated language and a plot that is tediously redundant, but nonetheless better than most of what I find out there for young children. Our 7 and 9-year-olds loved it. Wonderfully presented with different voices, one reader, that infuse a lot of charm and character into the dialogue. Overall superior to the Disney version, that just took the main ideas.

Enjoyed the story

However, the narrator speaks veery slowly. I recommend changing the speed to at least 1.3x to keep your attention.
