I love this team of authors and reader. They have the best grasp of humor and humanity since Sir Pratchett. Their series are delightfully re-readable.

Varning, lyssna inte medan du kör bil

Fantastiskt rolig bok, ibland går det lite snabbt så man måste spola tillbaks för att hänga med men så himla bra uppläst och skrivit att man gråter av skratt, så kör inte bil samtidigt som du lyssnar på denna bok.

Great followup

The comedy in this one definitely lived up to clovenhoof. It's quite similar in the style of supernatural sitcom with an interesting story playing out.

I Have Rarely Laughed So Often Or So Loudly

I tend not to review books, because I almost never read reviews. With this series, however, it must be done.

In the spirit of Clovenhoof, I'm going to overshare:
This series of books has made me laugh so often, so loudly, and so forcefully that negatively physical consequences have occurred that required immediate cleanup.

The material given to Matthew Lloyd Davies is phenomenal, but his rich characters and fantastic voicing for each character truly makes both Clovenhoof and Pigeonwings two of my favorite audiobooks, ever.

A great continuation......

.....of the antics of Clovenhoof and friends. Jeremy (and Naris) continue to step in it dragging their friends with them, and still come up smelling like..... apple brandy. I am a fan of all things Arthurian and was pleasantly surprised to see a bit of the legend incorporated into this book. I once again highly recommend Pigeowings and am starting the next book today!

Two thumbs up for this hilarious story - I never wanted it to end! I look forward to future installments in the Clovenhoof series.

Loved it, laughed until I cried several times and can only hope the rest of the series is this good.

Second in the Clovenhoof Series is Great too.

If you are easily offended by the portrayal of religious icons, then this book may not be right for you. However, if you sit back and laugh at the celestial foibles of an archangel, Michel, who's been banished to Earth and his neighbour, Satan, who's lost his job in Hell after years of faithful service to the damned, you may enjoy the Clovenhoof series. Neither of them was given sufficient training for their new lives, and the results are historical. Personally, I'd nominate the neighbours with whom they interact for sainthood as these two bumble their way through suburban England.
