Loved the material. But I was disappointed by the narration. Could have gotten someone who sounded less like Joan Rivers. It would have been more enjoyable.

I don't like her whiny voice. She sounds like Joan Rivers and I don't like her voice either.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole book is very moving, thought provoking and of great interest to me.

Indigenous Peoples lore and visioning

The audio quality wasn’t the best but the story is very prescient. If you read much literature from native peoples this story is in keeping with vision quests and shaman.

Phoenix rising

I found the story to be inane. I understand that it is supposed to be spiritual and profettic, but those are things anyone with any sense can figure out. I think me biggest problem is the way the author made the wise woman sound like an ideot and there is very little story to support the narrative

Phony Character w/ Awful Narration and Sound

This book is read in the most annoying nasally New York accent that doesn’t fit the characters. Trying to listen to this book is very unpleasant. It sounds like it was recorded with an 80's tape recorder. The content is terrible, with the "No-Eyes" talking horrible pigeon-English most of the time, with a few slips up phrases like "as we speak" that betray how phony this is. I only wish I could return this audible book for refund.
