Peter and the Wolf is a special tale that tells of a fearless young boy. It has been described as a 'symphonic fairy tale for children'.

In this version, the renown Tim V of Sham 69 narrates the story while the Koln Kindestrasse Orchestra accompanies it.

Each character in the tale is represented by a different instrument of the orchestra: the bird is played by the flute, the duck by the oboe, the cat by a clarinet, the grandfather by the bassoon, the wolf by the French horns, the hunters by the kettle drums and timpani; and, finally, Peter is portrayed by the strings.
