Great Story and Narrator

Finding the right narrator for a series makes a world of difference when listening to an audiobook. Jim Roberts is definitely the prefect narrator, for both the male and female parts. It often amazes me how he's able to be gravelly and manly one sentence, and then complete switch and nail the female parts. Love Jim Roberts as the narrator.

Jean Joachim writes incredibly moving sports romance stories. The topics are sometimes tough to read/hear, but she had so far redeemed all her characters that I've heard. And, of course, can't forget the pugs!!! They are absolutely adorable!!!

Love This Series

I was given this audiobook free for an honest opinion. I love this series, First and Ten by Jean Joachim. This is the second audiobook by her that I have listened to and have read another. The first thing I love is her knowledge of American football as she uses than knowledge through out her book. I appreciate that. Her characters has sustenance. Pete, the coach for the Kings, is a lonely guy but not without female company. He would like to remarry again. In steps sexy as sin Jo Parker. He is smitten. He is so wowed by her and she finds him equally sexy. The only thing I find wrong is that Jo has a lot of self doubts. Maybe a little bit too much.

Great Football Romance

Any additional comments?

Pete Sebastian, Coach is Book 3 in the First & Ten Series but can be listened to as a standalone. Pete, or "Coach Bass" as everyone calls him, is a successful pro football coach and has raised two daughters on his own. When he meets Jo Parker, the new front office employee, he is immediately smitten. Jo has worked hard to earn respect in a male-dominated field and doesn't want to threaten that by dating the coach. Will they be able to fight their mutual attraction? Will Jo finally be able to overcome years of feeling inadequate?

I really enjoyed Pete and Jo's story. The characters were very believable and relatable. The rough language made the story even more realistic. The narration of Jim Roberts was well done and brought the characters to life. I would recommend Pete Sebastian, Coach.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This review is my honest opinion.
