Interesting premise

Overall I enjoyed the story. There were parts that dragged and it probably could have had some of the repetitive parts taken out but it was still an interesting story. I like the idea of the four horseman. The narration was good.

Good vs Evil

Very different story. A battle of humanity against the Four Horsemen. Most of it takes place inside the heroine Harlow's head. She hears voices from God, her family and from Pestilence. Harlow chooses to fight for good but it's an uphill battle at times. There's a slew of things going on in this story. Action and danger, suspense, twist, and turns. Neutral gangs turning into enemies. Everyone fighting for survival, violence, passion/lust. The narrator does a very good job with this story.
I received a free audiobook of this story in exchange for an honest opinion.

Good Apocalyptic Reverse Harem

This story has a lot of potential. I really like the premise, but it just didn't grip me. The FMC is a bit of a loner and it leads to long monologues in her head. There is also quite a bit of "telling" instead of "showing". There is some steam in this first book, but the romance is a slower burn.

As for the narration, she is easy to understand and does a pretty good job. However, she doesn't put a ton of emotion into her voice, and after awhile it starts to drone, especially with all the internal dialogue from the FMC.

Hot garbage, in my opinion.

I felt robbed. This book does not meet the mark for the genre. It should be titled, "wordy whiner with ridiculous amounts of religious blah blah blah." and under the vanilla religious romance. Hell, calling it a romance is a stretch.
