Publisher's summary

Jenna Mathews has nothing on her mind except making sure her best friend's wedding is perfect in every way. As the maid of honor and the florist, she needs to keep on task. However, she is in no way prepared for the sexy best man who slides into place at the last second for the wedding rehearsal. He flusters her from the moment he arrives and manages to tip her world on its axis before the night is over. But Jenna isn't ready for his world, and besides, she has family issues to deal with and has no interest in divulging the truth about who she really is.

Mason Simmons can't believe he is falling for a vanilla woman at his best friend's wedding of all places. Even though both the bride and the groom warn him to stay away from the maid of honor, he isn't able to keep his hands to himself. He's a smart man, though. No matter how hard he gets every time he's with Jenna, he still knows she isn't the type to enjoy either of his favorite pastimes - MMA fighting and BDSM. What he really needs to do is get her out of his system so he can move on.

But things don't work out as planned for either Jenna or Mason. Every time they are together, the heat rises. Neither of them is capable of turning the flames down. Jenna proves to be far less vanilla at heart, shocking herself as well as Mason. The fighting is almost more than she can handle, but when Mason takes her to his club, Extreme, she finds herself titillated beyond what either of them expected.

Just when things are looking up, Jenna's family enters the picture to rock the boat. Can their relationship survive the extreme turbulence? Secrets are one thing, but Jenna has a pile she wished she never had to divulge.

Ok story, terrible narration

Narration speed was too fast, female voice robotic & male voice very feminine, ruined the characters for me. Ending was rushed as well.

Narration of male part terrible, story just ok

I really liked the narrators regular female voice but when she did the male voice for Mason it was so awful it was distracting. It was robotic and had no emotion. I couldn't get used to it or tune out my dislike of it so it grates on me the entire time. In terms of the book/ story line, it felt shallow. The emotions were kept high level and there was no angst in transitioning into unexpected roles or feelings. For example Mason didn't struggle with falling in love at all even though he never planned on it or had loved before. She didn't struggle with becoming a submissive or finding out her best friend was, even though she was apparently clueless about this lifestyle. Everything just kinda happened and the characters just went with the flow.

Perv is great story

Love this author and her books. The narration not so much.
It is,passable as is but sometimes it feels like the males are from OZ.
A male narrator and a duet setting would be so much better. Also the little
girl voice is so lacking.
Perhaps actually reading these books would be better. The story is great.

Good story, sis not like the narrator

I read to written version of this book and series and lived it. The story
was short and I liked that she didn't just all of a sudden become submissive, but was something she wanted to delve into a bit.

Unfortunately, I did not like the narrator. For some reason, she read all characters like a robot. No emotion or change at all. While I live Becca Jameson's books, this narrator is a bit of a kill joy.

Not a fan

What was most disappointing about Becca Jameson’s story?

Jenna's character was too static. There wasn't enough character development & the story lacked the suspense that the first book in the series had.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The male characters all sound the same & lack the emotion that was needed. The way Mason sounded made him seem unaffected throughout the story.
