Persuasion, Jane Austen's last novel, is a tale of love and marriage told with irony and insight. Anne Elliot and Captain Wentworth have met and seperated years before. Their reunion, after the passage or irrecoverable years of their youth, forces a recognition of the false values that drove them apart.First published 1818. Most romances bore me to death but for some reason this one didn't. I love that the main character Ann is smart and rational as well as kind and loving.

There is quite an issue with the sound leveling. The narration is overall quite quiet, but when the narrator gets louder, the change in volume becomes painful because I have to have my volume up so high to hear her natural speaking voice. Because of this, it was difficult to enjoy this audiobook, regardless of the story.

This was a great version, highly recommend. However, there would be long pauses that didn't seem to go with the text or would happen in the middle of dialog. Other than that, no complaints!
