The moment he’d sensed Persephone’s energy in the world again, Hades froze in place, his rage dissipating as he stared up at the sky he couldn't see. Hope. The power surrounding her was warm, an energy that wrapped around her body as a mother would to a child. She shook her head to clear it. Feeling the powerful male behind her, she turned to face him.

"Hades? What have you done?"

The events of the battle with Hera were devastating. Lives were changed, and the innocence Persephone once held was shattered. Hades would never forgive himself for failing to protect the one he loved. Vowing it would never happen again, he made a decision that would change the world forever and change the love that he had developed with Persephone. Persephone and Hades II

Not too shabby! Cliff hanger sucks cause I want to know how the upcoming battle ended. Persephone was annoying a bit in the beginning but I guess that’s a bit understandable. Overall, good retelling
