Publisher's summary

Sarah Lewis desires nothing more than to begin again after a failed marriage and a tragedy so terrifying, it forces her to leave her life in London to stay with her best friend a world apart in South Africa.

Despite immediate success in her business, she struggles to understand who she really is and where she belongs in the world. So begins a journey of discovery as Sarah re-unites with Katy in the land where she was born, where the air is lavender scented, and weekends are spent cycling on the beach.

Until the day when she has to return to London to face the ghosts of her past and confront a situation that has grown more complicated in her absence.

Perfect Imperfections is an intriguing tale which hints at wrongdoings and deceit without giving too much away. The author cleverly weaves a tale around fragile yet strong Sarah as she tries to reconcile her past with her future, engaging the listener to the point where we simply want the best for her and for happiness finally to come her way.

After tragedy there is hope

This is a beautiful story about a heartbroken woman who runs back to the country of her birth to attempt to recover from devastation. Through her good friends she slowly rediscovers life again and learns she can move on and enjoy life again. It’s a beautiful and hopeful story and was also beautifully narrated as well.

Forgiveness is the Best Gift of All

This was exactly the right book at the right time in my life! I am a person, who once hurt by a loved one, has a hard time forgiving. This book actually opened my eyes of not just a great "story" but how Sarah forgiving her sister and her ex-husband for having an affair behind her back, actually brings her peace in her heart an soul. She ends up realizing that her ex really never loved her and knowing how her sister is, knows that karma can sometimes be the sweetest revenge.

I love how Edward, Sarah's best friends brother, patiently waits for Sarah. A true test of love.

The narration on this book was excellent and was the perfect "voice", that the author was trying to portray

Perfect Forgiveness

Sarah, left London all of a sudden to go back to her native country, South Africa, without confiding in anyone as to the reason why. Thanks to her best friends while growing up, brother and sister Kathy and Edward, she starts to recover. She starts her interior design business and starts to live again. When she is called back to England for a family emergency, we start to find out bits and pieces of what Sarah has gone through. The story speaks of tragedy, deceitfulness, friendship and forgiveness. The author and narrator both did a fantastic job and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Life after Tragedy

Perfect Imperfections by Taryn Leigh is a heartbreaking and beautiful story. I loved how the main character was able to live after tragedy. The author wrote a very poignant story that will stick with me. Nano Angle was the perfect narrator for this book. She brought the characters to life with her voice. Her accents were so fitting, and it was easy to hear who was speaking. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. Time flies and people change are a basis of this story.

Good Story

I got this ARC via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This was a long and complicated story getting to the HEA. I was glad that forgiveness was shown in several areas. So often we as humans hang onto old hurts and we grow neither does the person we are angry with. But when forgiveness comes into play even if the other person does not want it. Being able to say I forgive you will set you free, Love can sometimes be staring us in the face and we don't see it until we open our eyes to forgiveness.
