Needs a better narrator.

The story was well told however the narration was a bit dry. Intersting true crime.

Kind of long

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Too many uses of 'then he say, then she said, then he said, then she said....'

Any additional comments?

Would have like to know how the people are now.

Good, not great

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

This is the first book I've heard by this narrator. He did a great job pronouncing some very complicated names. I feel this book would have been better if performed by a woman.

Any additional comments?

The story had way too many - he said, she said's. Much of it could have been implied by a change in the intonation. Not the best crime book I've read, but interesting.

Wow! Very interesting!

Surprisingly good. Very interesting story. Shocking actually. Loved every minute. Highly recommended! I had a narcissistic pervert as a 1st husband. And I always wonder if could be capable of this behavior. Def hit home with me.

My Big Fat Greek Nightmare

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If they are interested in true crime, yes, absolutely.

Any additional comments?

Better than average true crime book. Just proves that ANYONE can be fooled by a sociopath. The fact that this good hearted, intelligent, hard working woman and her family had no clue who this creep really was is a testament to the cold craft and manipulative skills of this particular breed of psycho. Well written, good read all around.

Engrossing

This is a better-than-average telling of the story of a sociopathic murderer and the havoc he wreaked on his victims.
Thanks to author Provost for letting the sorry tale stand on its own merits without resorting to an examination of the lives of peripheral characters such as investigating officers.
Good narration by Arthur Flavell who has obviously taken the time and care to check the pronunciation of names and words that are a little out of mainstream usage.

A smart woman who was dumb about men.

What made the experience of listening to Perfect Husband the most enjoyable?

Knowing both sides of the events and easily relating to her.

Did Arthur Flavell do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes, however, this should have been read by a woman. Women have a voice that will give a strong influence to what is said.
