Perchance to Dream is an origin story to Isobelle Carmody's, Comes The Night, and tells the story of Anna whose estate set up and operates the Sleep Research Institute, and introduces the compelling Nicholas.
The story was first published in the multi-award-winning collection Dreaming Again, edited by Jack Dann. Having written the story, Isobelle could never put the work she had created to bed. The dreamscape beckoned and led her to write Comes the Night which was longlisted for the 2024 Indie Awards in the YA category.
