meh

It's an ok cozy mystery but the story is too short for there to be any character or plot development.

Back on track

This is a short, fun mystery series. I enjoyed this installment. The holidays have brought love, jealousy, shopping, vandalism, assault and gypsies to town. What more could you ask for! I like that you can listen to a mystery all in one sitting. I haven't found many good mysteries of this length.

Cute

Mayhem is around, mix with someone poisoning cats, a senior is conk on the head, and Gypsies are in town. Cute story of mayhem and plenty of laughs. Enjoy the authors book and good narration Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Great Series!

Any additional comments?

This is great fun book; this is the fifth book in the Sweet Home Series written by Constance Barker and narrated by Angel Clark. This book can be listened to in one sitting if you have the time, once I started listening to it I didn’t want to put it down until the end. When one of the Sweet Home’s seniors is hit on the head and left for dead, it’s time for Lily and Jules to put their sleuthing skills to the test.

The narrator Angel Clark did a great job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with great characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Bingo, mystery, murder and love

I received this book for free for an honest review

This was a short little story about who is poisoning the cats, and who conked someone over the head and then why all of it was done. There is a love twist in there I didn't see coming. All in all it was a short and enjoyable story, the narrator did a good job but sometimes some of the voices started sounding the same. I guess I need to go back and read the rest of the stories.

A great coffee shop

A quirky story that make you giggle and sometimes makes you laugh out loud. I have been hooked on this series from my first free review. I had to get the series. This is a gem of a series and recommend reading, listening it. The characters are fun everyday eccentric retired senior citizens in a retirement community in Florida. Need I say more.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a fast paced mystery with twists.
I would love to have a cup of coffee and a piece of pie and watch the people in this community.

I was given a free copy of the book Peppermint pandemonium in exchange for an honest review. I recommend the whole series.

A Great Series and the Third One I've Listened To

PEPPERMINT PANDEMONIUM is another cute cozy in the Sweet Home series. I really like these mysteries. The characters are fun and even funny. This one takes place before Christmas but it's good anytime. Eli is a funny character. I also liked the "gypsies." CONSTANCE BARKER does a nice job writing these stories. It makes me wish I had a fireplace to snuggle up near while I listen.

ANGEL CLARK does another great job narrating these cozies. She has an amazing way of differentiating the character's voices. And there's many good characters. She's a great reader and I look forward to more in this series.

A fun lil holiday mystery!

Any additional comments?

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I love a great cozy mystery and this was one of those. It was a quick audiobook at just around three hours long. I didn't want to stop listening so I put it on every chance I had.

There are a couple mysteries that take place in this small town where everyone knows everyone. Who is making the cats sick and who hurt the older lady in the market square? Lily and Jules will figure it all out. Super cute and a lot of fun, this story makes a great Christmas mystery read/listen. A lil romance and mystery all rolled into this story.

Narrator ~ Angel Clark: The narrator sounds like she had a blast doing this book. I love how she changes her voice for all the characters and I didn't find any of them to be annoying to listen to. I found she has a great voice for story telling and can't wait to listen to more by Angel Clark.

I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars and look forward to reading/listening to more from this author.

A Sweet Cozy Treat!

I really enjoyed the cast of characters in this cozy. The aunts & the other elderly characters were my favorite, and Jules and Lilly make an entertaining snooping duo! I will say that you should go into this only if you're expecting a light wholesome read with a simple mystery. It would be a great read for a pre-teen who likes mystery but doesn't want any gore or death. I enjoyed the lightness of this listen, it was a breath of fresh air! There is some romance in the end with a sweet surprise that had me cheering for Lily! I was gifted this audiobook by the author in exchange for an honest review via audiobook blast, and I liked it so much that I'm going to purchase the other books in this series to see how it all began (since this is book 5).
