Publisher's Summary

Pepper:

The best part of a happy ending...finding out it's actually just the beginning. Having someone promise to be by your side, to chase dreams with, whisper troubles to, it's more than I could have imagined.

But after three seasons of Jace playing pro ball in Ohio, three long seasons with him on the road, and me training all over the world, I’m questioning if we can really have it all. Harsh criticism of our relationship is all too familiar and uncovers old wounds. I only ever wanted to run and to be with Jace, and finding the perfect balance proves to be my greatest trial yet.

We vowed not to let our love deter each other's athletic goals, but I miss him. I miss us.

Jace:

The demands of our careers have us running in opposite directions, when we should be putting down roots, together. But escalating fame and an overbearing agent have me fumbling everything I hold dear, including Pepper.

After years of dedication and sacrifice, I'm finally in a position to trade to my hometown team. Moving back to Colorado could be the answer to all our problems, but just when I think we're finally on the right track, we're sacked with news that turns everything upside down. News that rattles me and sends Pepper into a tailspin. It's time for me to remind the girl that I fell in love with how to fight.

Until she's ready, I'll fight hard enough for the both of us. For better or for worse.

Great Read

Pepped Up & Wilder: Pepper Jones, Book Six was another great read by Ali Dean. Pepper and Jace have found ever after even if their careers as professional athletes means they spend more time apart then together. Jace has been playing pro football in Ohio for three seasons and Pepper is training all over the world to qualify for the Olympics for running. They fight hard for their professional goals as well as their love for eachother. I absolutely loved reading Pepper and Jace's story and can't wait to read more by Ali Dean. Stacey Glemboski did a great job of narrating this series and making sure that you fall in love with the characters. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Such An Amazing Series

I love this series so much and this was the perfect way to end it. I know that this is one of those series I will Listen to and re-read over and over again. Jace and Pepper are characters that stay with you and leave you with a book hangover like no other. Ali Dean did an AMAZING job.

Great way to end

Ali has a unique way of grabbing your attention and sucking you in from beginning to end with each of her books. This one was no exception to that. The storyline was great, engaging and provided me with all the feels. I love how we get to see Jace and Pepper's POV during certain aspects in this book as well. I always find it intriguing and refreshing when authors have the ability and creativity to provide that to their readers.
I love how Jace and Pepper's love for one another never falters and continues to grow, even when they face certain challenges that would probably cause some marriages to fail.
Each character is still awesome (especially Bunny), well-developed and at times complex, which I like a lot. I now feel a sense of completion for Jace and Pepper's story after listening Pepped Up and Wilder. However, I'm also secretly hoping for more to come!
I recommend this whole series. It is amazing.

Amazing Ending to a Wonderful Series

Credit to Ms. Dean for taking on such a hard and emotional topic to close out the Pepper Jones saga. I will leave it to others to determine how accurate the portrayal was but I loved hearing from both sides of the couple, even when Pepper was inside herself. I also enjoyed that Ms. Dean did not leave us hanging and provided a wonderful epilogue to close out the series and provide closure for the characters. While I’m now in a book series hangover, I do not feel that anything was missing.

Once again great job to Ms. Glemboski. She did such a wonderful job voicing these characters throughout the series. Each common voice was unique so you could always tell who was speaking. In this book in particular, during the epilogue, Bunny has aged, and Ms. Glemboski kept Grans voice but made it age as well. She is a very talented voice actor.

I am very sad to see the characters go, but I do hope that Ms. Dean and Ms. Glemboski pair up in the future. Either way, I will be watching for new works from both of them.

I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

Love the Wilders! Fabulous Series & Narration🎧

I was suffering serious book withdrawals after binge listening to the first five books of this wonderful “Pepper Jones” series. I just adored Pepper Jones & Jace and was happy to see that they as a couple they came out on top by the end of book five. It was a long road for them, with lots of bumps and heartaches along the way. In this book Ali Dean brings us into their married life, she shows up how how love each other very much and respect each others career. Jace goes pro and is hoping to signed to a team closer to their family. Pepper is going strong in her career as a professional runner with goals of making in on the US Olympic team. Sometimes their schedules keep them apart but their relationship is in a great place and they want to make it work. They are faced with new challenges as life throws curve balls but their love shines thru. It is great to see how much they have grown since the start of the series, it is also great to see some of the secondary characters again as well, I am happy for Wes and Bunny too. I would love to see spin-offs come from this series, maybe a book for Wes, Ryan, Jace’s Dad and even Bunny. I can not get enough of these great characters. I highly recommend this series, each book is well written and well told. Ali Dean is a talented author, she captivates her readers/listeners with these wonderful stories. The stories are realistic and heartfelt with characters you can not help but fall in love with. Thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

I listened to the Audible edition, Stacey Glemboski is a wonderful narrator and voice performer.
She brings these characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. She does an amazing job projecting the emotions of he characters and the drama of the story into her performance. You can hear how much heart she puts into each character. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen🎧

Pepper's Ending!

Pepped Up & Wilder (Pepper Jones, Book 6) is the final book in this sports romance and ends Pepper and Jace's journey. My best-loved chapter was the final chapter. I absolutely adored the epilogue too as it was perfect glimpse of the future. I love how everything fit together like a puzzle perfectly. This final book wasn't rushed or capacity batting added to extend it. Grams will always be my favourite character. Umbrella, a sports romance series with sports stats, angst & love creating a entertaining listen.

Narator Stacey Glemboski performance continues to show her panache. A flawless performance with perfect intonation, pace and flows through smoothly.

Perfect Conclusion

This is the perfect conclusion to Pepper and Jace's story. I loved getting to see them try to adjust to life together while still reaching for their ultimate goals. They've both grown so much throughout the series and have come out so much stronger. There's some heartbreak and happiness in this story. I've been so invested in these two together that it was great to see them all the way from high school to college to their adult lives.

The narration was perfect again. Stacey was the perfect choice. She delivered the heartbreak and emotions and really added so much to the story.

All Grown Up!

Ah, this journey of Pepper and Jace has come to and end and what an story! Once again, Ali Dean had me entranced in their story as they enter marriage, their high profile careers and whatever comes with it. I was right their with them through each trial, felt their pain and love, enjoyed their triumphs, hated their tribulations and loved being with Bunny. Watching these two grow and mature from high school to adulthood is something we all can relate to. It's great fun having the characters consistently move from book to book, having those we love and those we don't, from great friends to mean girls. It's a wonderful series, and I especially loved the epilogue! Ali Dean has a winning series, one I will definitely recommend and add to my top listens.

Stacey Glemboski is this series, and I am so glad she narrated the entire thing. She became these characters, consistently kept the voices so we knew who was talking, could feel all the emotions they went through and found their essence. Her performance is amazing, and I can't wait to see where she takes us next.

🎧Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession 🎧

Sad to say this is the last story in the Pepped Up Series, I am going to miss these characters.
This one is also hard to review without a spoiler suffice to say it has less angst, is Pepper and Jace as a couple, with love, loss, strength, achievement, and yes an HEA.
Stacey again did a wonderful job narrating.

Book 6

I was on an emotional roller coaster with this book & entire series. I am so emotionally attached to these characters it’s crazy. I have been saying the narration has been great through this whole series but I need to elaborate. She made me believe that she was in the story telling about herself. I felt every emotion in these characters through the narration. She was absolutely amazing! I was so emotionally drained after finishing this series I had to put on my iTunes instead of another book lol. I loved this series but boy did I feel it.

AWESOME Book! GREAT Series!

This book was everything I knew it would be and more. Ali Dean really out done herself with this novel. There was excitement, surprises, and disappointment.

Jace and Pepper had learned to be more in sync with each another; especially when others tried to divide them.

The couple experienced something that no couple should have to go through, that really sent Pepper into a dark place. But, Jace really stepped up and displayed that he would be the supporter, the champion she needed to get her through it.

I will definitely be singing the praises of Ali Dean with my audiobook friends.

I definitely want to give credit to
Stacey Glemboski on her role as the narrator. She did an Outstanding job on this book and the rest of the "Pepper Jones Series." I really LOVED it!!!

A Wonderful Ending to an Amazing Series!

I loved this final book in the Pepper Jones series. It was great to catch up with Pepper and Jace and their friends a few years after the last book. This was a wonderful ending to an amazing series, and I'm really going to miss these characters. If you've read the other books, then you're going to love this one. If not, then you really need to start with book one first and listen to the whole series in order.

Stacey Glemboski has done an incredible job narrating this series, and I'm looking forward to listening to some of her other books.

Gah lee the feels are strong with this one!!

So I'm going to start off with the fact that Stacey Glemboski is seriously the best narrator there is! She outdid herself with this performance!! I was blown away but the rawness and realness in her voice at all the right times.

Pepper and Jase are starting their professional careers and recently married, it's hard with them both being professional athletes and having to travel constantly for their jobs but they both know how strong their love and marriage is so they aren't insecure, just lonely and missing each other.

They go through quite a few highs and a severe low, people trying to come between them as always and reporters making stories out of nothing. It's a brutal world but their love is strong and they can overcome anything at this point, until the severe low hits. It's like a hurricane destroying everything in it's wake and it is a ridiculously difficult journey for the two of them. It's hard on them both in their own ways and it takes a toll on them but they fight through it together and come out closer and stronger on the other side.

I loved this couple so much, their love was so pure. I felt so connected with the characters it's like I was there for all of it in real life, not just a book. I was enraptured with these books. I never wanted them to end. This is one of my favorite series I have read... Ever!

The epilogue of this book was exactly what I was hoping for! It was so perfect and had me grinning like a maniac the entire time! Love isn't an adequate enough word for how much I enjoyed the epilogue!
