Publisher's Summary

Pepper Jones is ready to start breaking some records. She’ll be a junior in college, and if she wants to run professionally when she graduates, it’s time to step things up a notch. This time around, she knows it won’t be accomplished by ramping up her training. While Pepper’s hoping for a race day breakthrough, she wonders if there’s a mental barrier holding her back, and if so, how is she supposed to confront it?

Meanwhile, Jace Wilder wants Pepper back any way he can have her, but he’s reluctant to bulldoze his way into her life having already crushed her once (okay, probably a few more times than that) before. More scenes from Jace’s point of view in the book shed a new perspective into the character Pepper fans love to hate, and hate to love, delving into those layers he’s only given glimpses of in the past.

The Brockton crew is growing up. Zoe and Wes. Jenny and Rollie. Lexi and Brax. Bunny and Wallace. Pepper and...?

It’s time to find out what Pepper’s happily ever after will be.

Pepper Up Forever starts two years after the events in Pep Talk and both Pepper and Jace have changed. Pepper is harder and more closed off while Jace isn't afraid to show his hand and be open with Pepper. I really liked having the addition of Jace's POV. I like seeing how these characters have grown and changed throughout this series. The underlying themes of introspection and relying on friends to talk to and encourage each other runs strong throughout this series. I like that Ali Dean is not afraid to deal with some of the harder themes. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Pepper and Jace.

I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsessions. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Team Pepper! Team Jace! Fabulous Series & Listen🎧

I can not give these books enough praise, they are wonderful stories based on wonderful characters, young adults coming in to their own, finding there way and footing in life. Pepper Jones is in her junior year and continues to run and has been doing well in cross competitions. She knows she has more to give she just has to dig in deep to get it. After Jace pushed her a way she found the strength to move on with her life with out her best friend at her side. She actually grew stronger, but also became bitter, losing some of her always rosy outlook when it comes to love. Jace, focused on football and school, he finally realized that he made the biggest mistake of his life and he does not know how to fix things. As in the previous books there is a lot of drama, some twists and a whole lot of emotions happening. We find out who masterminded some of the cruelty towards Pepper in earlier books. I knew something was not right with that person. It was nice to see Jace come to the rescue again and make things right. It is also nice to see others finding their happiness too, shout out to Grans, everyone could use a Bunny in their lives. I am looking forward the next chapter in Pepper and Jace’s lives, I hope it becomes available on Audible soon. Ali Dean, thanks again for these amazing books.

I listened to the Audible edition, Stacey Glemboski is a terrific narrator and voice performer. She continues to bring these characters to life, gives them their own voice as well as heart and personality. She is an entertaining storyteller and a joy to listen to. She makes it easy to get lost in a story. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Oh Jace finally got it right!

What a great story! Jace really had me concerned in the last book, but Pepper was worrying me in this one. lol. Between the two of them, I'm not sure who was going to give me the biggest nervous breakdown. Pepper and Jace both had some serious growth in this series. Then there is the whole Clayton deal, which I was wondering about but it still threw me for a loop. Ali Dean has done a fabulous job with this series and I can't wait for the next book.

Jace's Evolution

At the end of the forth book I had a pretty good hate on for Jace. He'd done some really stupid crap in that book and coming back from those actions would not be easy. But he surprised me with how far he'd come and how far he was willing to go to make Pepper see that he was a changed man. the only man for her. Though i have to admit, if it'd been me, i'd have let him suffer a little longer! lol

I really liked that we got to hear more from Jace this go around. i loved seeing Jace's transformation from the way he'd been in the previous books. i love how strong and self assured Pepper is in this book. and i love the ending.

the writing was awesome. the narration was awesome. can't wait for the next and final book.

I'm smiling again at the end of this book.........

Pepped Up Forever is the fifth book in this young adult/sports romance series, and it really needs to be read as part of the series. I was so sad and discouraged at the end of the fourth book, and I was nervous to begin this book in case I didn't get the ending I have been wanting for the couple of Jace and Pepper since meeting them in book one. The book begins almost two years after the ending of book four and much has happened for Pepper. She is amazingly strong and so much more self-confident. Thankfully in this book, we get more chapters from Jake's point of view, so I could see how much he has grown as well. He always had a darkness in him that kept him from fully opening to a relationship with Pepper. He seems to have finally realized how self-defeating this weakness is, and that he will make whatever changes Pepper needs to allow him back in her life and her heart. It was only through these chapters from Jace's point of view that I was able to trust him enough with Pepper's heart again, since I was as crushed as she when he hurt her in the past. Although my main focus in the book was on the drama and angst of the Jace and Pepper's relationship, there are also lots of fun interactions with the usual gang and plenty of lighthearted banter and funny escapades. If you have read any of the books in the series, listening to Pepped Up Forever is an absolute must.

Stacey Glemboski's narration is as fantastic as always. She narrates all the books in the series, and she is the perfect choice for this story featuring mostly young adults. Her performance is flawless, and her smooth delivery makes this already enjoyable story even better as an audiobook.

I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.

Love this series!

I have loved this series from the start, and watching the transformation of Jace and Pepper has been wonderful. I really loved this part of their journey for a couple of reasons. As a junior in college Pepper has set new goals for herself, and at this time in her life needs to learn and become intuitive. Ali Dean has picked up on all her cues, found her weaknesses and has let us watch Pepper mature into a wonderful young woman. As we have been involved with Jace too, we have seen him go from high school to college with goals in mind, troubled past and the fortitude to make change. I love it! It's a great story, let's us carouse with "our" friends to parties, see old friends and crazy ones and the best, to see Gran! It's so much fun, I can't get enough. And with Stacey Glemboski at the wheel with her amazing narration, she brings it all together with her impeccable voices, consistent from book to book, giving us that community feel as we listen. I can't wait for the next one!

Give me all the feels!

SO Pepper Jones and Jace have been broken up for 2 years and we finally get a glimpse into what he is feeling and thinking!!

I loved this book, I loved getting to finally get inside Jace Wilder's head and getting to see the other side of it all. But can we talk about Clayton for a second? I mean what the WHAT?! I knew there was something off with him but WOW.. just wow. I can't even form an intelligent sentence about him right now. I was shocked to say the least!

Jace decides he is ready to have Pepper back in his life, I was kind of upset considering the fact that he really hurt her and I wanted her to make him work for it but at the same time I was celebrating! I mean how could you not, Pepper and Jace are just meant to be. I love the way the book played out and loved the HEA.

This is one of my favorite couples that I have read, I enjoyed watching Pepper gain her own self confidence while she was without Jace and I love the fact that he is so open and honest at the end once he finally grows up and seeks help. They both learned quite a bit about love and life while they were separated and even though I HATED the separation I realize after the fact that it was a really good thing for them as individuals which in turn made them stronger as a couple.

And we can't forget Bunny, I mean seriously everybody needs a Bunny in their lives! I love seeing her get her HEA too! Such a great added bonus to the story line.

Of course Stacey did an amazing job on this one. I loved the fact that she got so in to character, I really felt like Jace was the one talking when she did his dialogue and same thing with Bunny. She really gave them some wonderful characteristics.

What a great series!

I love this book! When it starts, Pepper is about to start her junior year in college and Jace his senior year. Time apart has allowed them to grown both as athletes and adults. I love the dual point of view between Jace and Pepper. A lot happens in this book. You might still need tissues for this one, but for a different reason than the last book. There were some interesting twists and turns. The ending was perfect. I'm happy to find out that there is a book 6, and it looks like it just released on audio today. Stacey Glemboski is amazing at bringing these characters to life!

Two Years Later

Get ready to fall in love all over again with Pepper and Jace. The author does an amazing job of weaving in a second chance romance into this series. After she tore our heart out with the last book, she artfully puts it back together and gives us another chance with these amazing characters. I liked that this book is set 2 years after the last and we can see substantial character growth and change between the characters. I've also really enjoyed that she has changed up the points of view so that we get to see where Jace is coming from, unlike in the first few books. This author continues to take us on an amazing journey and I've loved every minute of it. I can't wait for more!

Stacey does an amazing job in this performance. I am loving that she is still staying consistent with voices 5 books in. Up until this book, she has mostly only been in Pepper's voice and point of view; however, now we have Jace's point of view and it really shows her ability to distinguish her voice between points of view and it is fabulous and fits Jace well. I've loved every performance in the series and this book is no exception.

Love Pepper & Jace!

I cannot say how much I LOVE the Pepper Jones series.

Once again Ali Dean has sucked me in from the very beginning.

Pepper has definitely mature a lot since the last book. She’s more cautious when it comes to Jace which is very understandable. Jace is living with the regret of how he treated Pepper after his mother left again. But it’s Jace, so he won’t give up Pepper that easily.

Once again, Pepper & Jaces relationship is put through the test with crazy people trying to separate them. Will they make it? Will they end up stronger because of it? I’m pretty sure you already know the answer to those questions!

Stacey Glemboski is freaking awesome when it comes to narrating. I love how she can change her voice for the different characters and its realistic.
