Storyline

Cute story. D and E end up marrying young, but still go against the “villains”. Definitely an interesting listen

Elizabeth and Darcy marry young due to an earthquake.

This story was different than the normal JAFF stories as it happens in Lambton near Pemberley with Elizabeth and Darcy being much younger. The responsibility the couple face firmly a bond between the couple. This comes into play when unfortunate circumstances force the couple to deal with family tragedies and horrible relations.
I enjoyed the story but be prepared to take a wild ride, enjoy it.

Contrived!

This book is silly because it is SO contrived. The story is not developed - it is simply told. The characters are not vivid. The premise (immediate marriage, wild deranged serial killer, no outrage for horrible deeds. The ending is quick and unbelievable. The virtual voice technology needs a lot of refinement. It is dull, monotone and it is difficult to perceive when the dialog shifts from one speaker to another. Words are very often mispronounced. The only good thing I can say is that the villains get what they deserve.
