GOOD LISTEN
Always loved the Twighlight Zone series and stories. Really enjoyed Pattern for Doomsday. Good Narration. Good story. Others were a little more fun, but I did like this one so I'll give it a good 3 star overall.

A Little Bit Dissapointing Story
I love The Twilight Zone and I always wished that Henry Rollins would narrate audiobooks, because he's voice is hypnotizing, but the story was a little less interesting and than others from the series and more predictable.

Not bad, not very good.
Given the setting of the story - eight people preparing to flee earth, before it collides with an asteroid, this should have been a suspenseful episode. But it was surprisingly, well - uninteresting. The acting was OK, but a young female character sounded positively geriatric - casting error I guess. A minor disappointment.

Submitted for your approval. A man who joined a punk band in 1981 turns in a great performance in the Twilight Zone
When I saw that two things I hold so dearly were combined under one radio drama. I had to give it a go. Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins and The Twilight Zone.
Now I must admit I trod lightly, I think Henry's skills as an actor can be fairly hit and miss, he's turned in powerhouse performances in his time, like in: He Never Died or Sons of Anarchy. But then he was also in Wrong Turn 2 and Jack Frost. But to his credit I don't think that's entirely his acting at fault I think it's the projects themselves and as for The Twilight Zone. I'm a Rod Serling fanboy and can't usually watch something T.Z related if he isn't attached. Even the comic series I have a hard time with because I want to know that somehow Serling would of made it better. But this really is a great show.
The story is nothing amazing, in fact it falls under the "Simpsons did it" joke which means (due to it being a Halloween episode) that another film has already done it. Which ultimately makes this story a conventional Science Fiction trope. But that is absolutely fine by me. This is a great little drama. Easily digestible and familiar. It feels as well like it could of easily sat along side other episodes in the show. I wish there was a: best of collection with these dramas as I want to listen to more but can't warrant spending my money or one monthly credit on something that lasts shorter than some videos on YouTube these days. However, Henry Rollins performance was great I love seeing all the random places he can turn up in and in a radio drama of my favourite TV show was great. The Show itself has opened my eyes to exploring more modern versions of The Twilight Zone so I can't fault it for that at all. Fans of both Henry Rollins and The Twilight Zone will definitely find something to love about this.
