Publisher's Summary

Discover the origins of the warrior Clans in this thrilling prequel to Erin Hunter’s number one nationally best-selling Warriors series.

The sixth book in the Dawn of the Clans series takes listeners back to the earliest days of the Clans, when the cats first settled in the forest and began to forge the warrior code.

After moons of strife, the forest cats have settled into five camps. But now, the dangerous rogue Slash has kidnapped Clear Sky's mate, Star Flower, and made demands for prey that the cats cannot afford to meet. Desperate to save Star Flower, Clear Sky must convince the other groups - led by Tall Shadow, Wind Runner, Thunder, and River Ripple - to join forces, or their new way of life may not survive.

No words

(Spoiler Warning)This book was absolutely phenomenal I've got no Words to describe it Rip Gray Wing you were A amazing cat his death really hit hard. May you experience no pay now that you are in Star Clan. May your hunting be plentiful. Side note Just to say it the narrator is absolutely amazing! He is by far the best narrator for these books he really does a awesome job at representing the characters and giving each of them a voice. I'm especially happy of how he does the voices for the she cats he does a great job of making then sound like actual she cats.

SPOILERS AHEAD -In desc

(SPOILERS AHEAD) R.I.P Gray’Wing the cat that just wanted peace and love from his brother. He died without Turtle’Tail- His first crush. His Kits didn’t understand that he was dying- In fact his kit even said: “Gray’wings just got the sniffles! (Medicine cat- I forgot) will give him herbs to take away the sniffles. When I had the Sniffles they cured them” Gray’Wing named the Clans wisely- R.I.P SkyClan in the next books- Poor SkyStar AKA ClearSky had to watch his “Precious” Borders get torn apart by Twolegs. Poor Slate- Poor sad sad Slate, Black ear and (I forgot the other two) Poor MothFlight getting grounded from her Mother. Even Black ear was oblivious to even the thought of him sick- Boasting about how he almost got crushed by a Monster but ClearSky (Or Thunder) Saved him, He only noticed when Gray’Wing was saying very touching goodbyes. As if he wouldn’t see them ever again.

“Your to hard on her WindRunner” WELL WELL- Of course Gorse Fur is just gonna say that. WISE WORDS! Making your Wife turn on you like that- Haha You don’t deserve to have MothFlight WindRunner. Your too “Hard” on her. JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU TELL HER YOUR BETTER OFF WITHOUT HER- Yeah thats enough. With Purrs and Claws, Have a good day/Night

Nice ending to a wonderful season.

Wow! Emotional Rollercoaster. Well done. Riveting story, excellently narrated. If you've made it this far in the story, you have come to expect this greatness. No disappointment whatsoever.

This book made me cry.

I’ve been invested in this series since the very 1st book was released but this is definitely my favorite arc so far. I don’t care that I’m an adult now, I was literally crying at the end of this book. This arc was so emotional& felt like it dealt with more mature themes than anyone could enjoy& I really recommend it

over all this series was a wonderful listen. MacLeod Andrews is a master narrator and the characters really grew on me. it was a nice break away from the original cast most of the books follow.

Amazing

The narrator does an amazing job reading these stories. They are so well written that you grow attached to some of the cats and their deaths bring tears to my eyes
