Not as good as the 1st 2 books
I am disappointed with this book especially after enjoying the 1st 2 books so much. This third book lacks the action, the passion and the spark of the first two. It seems to be non stop introspection & self analysis, a considerable amount involving one particular character who is not even the main character. These sections drone on and on & focus mainly on the character's frailties, inadequacies & self doubts. The overdone self analysis, & self criticism persists with the other characters but to a lesser degree. The dialog between characters is over dramatized & effects believability of ensuing action sequences. I skipped some sections to avoid boredom & the agony.
I did listen to the books back to back to back so perhaps I am over critical to some degree with my review because I perhaps lost focus or interest
