Jake & Dawn!! Passion reunited!

This is a fun listen! I didn't know quite what to expect, but dove in and loved it! This is a 4 novella series about Jake and Dawn. It starts with Dawn waking up and having no memories. Jake is rushing her out of the room she is in and their escape is imperative to her safety. Why you ask? This is where the paranormal twist begins! These two take us through a love story that spans centuries. Watching them fall in love again, only to realize their past lives it exciting. But that is not the best part! We have suspense and danger lurking as these two are not the only ones that have come back in the current year. Will their rekindled love only be in vain? This is series is a blast! A little Egyptian flare added into the story just makes it that much more entertaining. It's original, romantic and thrilling all in one.

Narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter, I knew I was in for a treat. These two talented narrators are my favorites, and they bring this serial to life(pun intended). They compliment each other perfectly and the dual narration is fantastic. I truly enjoyed their performance.

Passion Never Dies is a bundle of 4 novellas which tell the story of Dawn and Jake, lovers bound together by time, history, and so much more... I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this series. Anna Durand surprises me all the time with her fresh ideas and unexpected characters and plot twists. This story has elements of Sci-Fi, fantasy, fated mates, and they all come together with Dawn, who is an resurrected Egyptian princess whose mummified body is rejuvenated by a biotech firm. We quickly learn there is a lot more to the story when a magical element is introduced and brings another layer to the story. Jake is her devoted rescuer from the moment she wakes up and that connection grows from there. There are a lot of powers against them including bad guys with escalating reasons and significant memory loss. I’m a sucker for people who belong together and find a way to make it work in spite of all the odds against them.

There were a few things that pulled me out of the story a bit and required me to suspend disbelief in a few places, but the narration is so good I really did enjoy the characters and the story. Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock work so well together and really brought their talent to this story. I really enjoyed their performances in this interesting story. The narration made it for me!
