How many people do you know grew up as a poor immigrant in America during the Great Depression, won a scholarship to Harvard Law School, landed on the beaches of Normandy on D Day, were present at the liberation of concentration camps including Buchenwald, Mauthausen and Flossenburg, held leading Nazis to account at the Nuremberg trials and have fought for an International Criminal Court to hold war criminals to account the world over?

Now you know one.

I love this man!!!

He is wise and wonderful. Something caught my attention when I was browsing the store and I bought this. Later I forgot why I bought it and listening to the introduction, I almost decided not to listen… it’s about WWll which I recently listened to a couple other books taking place around that time… I wasn’t sure I wanted to listen to another one.

Am I glad I did! This is the best book every, with very wise words from an extraordinary man!!! The introduction is important because it tells us who he is.

I highly recommend this book to everyone and anyone!!! Ms Lenny Lunden

short but great life

Benjamin Ferencz has certainly led a remarkable life. Born in Hungary as Jew who had to escape from the ongoing evils of the Hitlers Nazi Party, he came to Americal and grew up in Hells Kitchen. He got an education, fell in love and married, had 4 children and did law - ending up prosecuting the evils that had sent 6 million Jews and many others to their deaths in the concentration camps they built in Europe. And in this short book, he tells his story and the lessons he has learnt during his 100 years on the planet. It is a very inspiring book,
