Guide for Parents

It's one of the best books in my opinion. As I got a lot of information from it. I get to know about eating disorders which are usually found in children.

The author has explained to parents, the tips and techniques through which they can overcome this disease in their children.

The narrator used a polite tone to deliver the message which I liked it. The theme of the book is informative.

Knowledge is power

Eating disorder is something I know very little about. Without knowledge some of us parents would not know what to do. Information is good. The author has done a good job in enriching us parents with knowledge in a simple easy to read way. At times as parents we asked as to why the sudden change of our kids I. Terms of eating habits, communication, and sharing how they feel. This book has answered all my questions and I see how uninformed I had been generalizing everything to sickness or not feeling well and not knowing it is way more than that. I recommend this book to all parents.

When your child is suffering from an eating disorder and refuses to talk about it and goes to great lengths to conceal it from you it can feel impossible to deal with. This book is written by someone who beat an eating disorder both for themself and their child and gives valuable insights into how to deal with the disease when it's in a family member. A Must Read If You Have a Teenage Daughter

Whether or not your daughter struggles with Bulimia, you should take a few hours and listen to this book. It will open your eyes to things that could be impacting your child behind the scenes of her life. The author presents an intelligent and insightful overview of eating disorders, but more than that, she presents an informed glimpse into topics that simply were not an issue when we were kids such as the impact of social media upon the lives of young girls. The narration is crisp and clean, making it easy to listen to and comprehend. You owe it to your daughter to understand and empathize what is happening in her life. This book will help you do that.

Fantastic Guide!

This book was very well structured and I believe it is an excellent guide to helping a daughter overcome and understand Bulimia. I have not suffered from this before but I know people that have and I have a daughter that I hope one day never will. However, if that day did come this book really is the perfect resource to help me be able to help her.

interesting, educational, good narration

I found this audio interesting.
This is a tough subject to cover and has been done so passionately and considerately.
While targeted at young teenage women it provides some very grounding strategies for anyone dealing with bulimia.
Would recommend this to anyone who thinks they or their child may be suffering from a eating disorder.
