Wanted to like the book.

I really wanted to like this book but I couldn’t even finish reading/listening to it. Every single chapter talks about what future chapters were going to talk about and I never felt like I was listening to anything of value because they never addressed the point in the chapter you were listening to. I feel if they stopped giving previews and actually talked about how to raise strong willed children it would be worth my time. As a mama who barely has time to read or listen to books for enjoyment this 8 hour book never really got to the topic at hand. I feel that it it was condensed you’d actually get something from it but I kept saying get to the point already under my breath.

Infomercial or assistance? You decide.

If you really need assistance and specific direction then this book is for you. Detailed instructions for a variety of challenging behaviors are given. I felt I was reading an infomercial about this book and others by these authors. Many times I wanted to scream "get to the point already!!"
Very common sense. I'm glad I didn't spend any more time on this book!

Audible is a waste

I had a physical copy of this book but it inadvertently ended up in the donation pile before I could finish it. I figured I would just buy the audible book and it’s a complete waste. They’ve mentioned charts and list of instructions to conduct the compliance test.. ya, we don’t have access to that when we don’t have a copy of the book. I tried to search these references online to no avail. No sense in wasting anymore time on this book if I can’t actually complete the tasks required.

Repetitive about what the book was going to offer

Found the first three chapters to be way too repetitive. Continuously stating what they were going to teach me without actually doing so.

waste of time

I'll start with the assumptions in the first few chapters that were 100% wrong.
boys are more likely to have ADHD
screen time means your child will be more violent

I also felt like this was a running ad for the rest of their books/ programs.

Yes! This book is a must!!

I love how thorough they are! I recommend this book to all parents, either 100% happy home, or a very strong-willed child. This book is something that you will greatly benefit from. Literally, everyone will benefit from it. We saw results in one month, by doing exactly what the book says, and what a game/life changer! Buy this, listen to this, if you care about the health and wellness of your family and home!

works if you stick to it

The program outlined works if you stick to it and don’t modify the early weeks.

A comprehensive guide for parenting you child!

A must listen for parents even with average children not only strong-willed children.
The Author presents every situation you can face in your parenting journey and how to deal with it in a precise way.
However the introduction is so long and I was going to quit the book but later in part 2 I liked the 5 rules to follow in order to help children to behave well, while I don’t see it needs 5 weeks and It should take not more than 2 days for each rule and it needs time to master them.
I liked part 3 and 4.. it included everything I needed to know.. it’s like collecting everything in one place... I consider it like manual for parenting:)
Tons of information.. I believer it’s like a reference.
