Learning to parent a teen is an incredible hard journey but this book gives toms of great advice. With a chapter by chapter approach to dealing with various issues via scripture, the author gives parents much needed assistance and direction. Tremendously helpful. Wish I had had this when I was raising my own!

An eye opener and very resourceful

To me, this book not only gives foundations for Biblical child-rearing but also provides resources that gives scripture verses that you can use to discuss with your children specific struggles that they are having with sin or wrong behavior.
It touches on our reactions to our kids’ backtalk, or selective hearing, as well as not so obvious things that can still be triggers for our emotions. I could take notes and implement the strategies into my day-to-day interactions with my children.
It goes without saying that religion is a very debatable issue. Therefore, every person is the society has an own opinion and worldview about this issue.
Every chapter describes a situation from the different angles so that there are possible hesitations which may occur in the reader’s mind. This author emphasizes the importance of parents living out their faith in their homes so that children know what it means to love God and live for Him.
This book also stresses the importance of fathers as heads of the home and the importance of the home being the primary location of spiritual training. 
What an awesome responsibility it is to be a parent, although challenging, but we can not be effective parents if we do not have a thorough understanding of the gospel and a correct fear of God.
This is a fabulous book for parents who strive to bring up the children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord as well as communicating.
All of the chapters resonated with me, and there are many habits that my family will be considering purposefully in the months and years ahead.
I found this book a noteworthy and a valuable.

Terrific guide

What a great audiobook. Parenting teens is not easy, it’s such a pivotal part of a kids life. This audiobook takes a different and clearly effective approach. I really liked the narrator too. Totally recommend!

A nice book

Each step is helpfully explained in depth. Parents who want to understand the underlying causes of certain typical troublesome teen behaviors and how to deal with these issues will find this information useful. It also discusses how teenagers can manage their emotions. I fervently recommend this book.

Great Resource!

I really enjoy how this book included examples of why teens may act how they act and do what they do with solutions and guidance on how to improve the behavior of teens! It also serves as a reminder to believe in your faith and all shall prevail!! I have some teens to be and will be using some of these parenting guidance to help improve the bond I have with my children!
