Some good tips

I found some of the tips helpful. However, it focused more on the hyperactive parts of adhd and didn't really give much advice on dealing with actual attention deficits problems. Like how to get a bored kid to stop daydreaming. The narrator had little inflection in her voice and was difficult to listen to.

Great audiobook for caretaker of my dragon child

My son is a little extra at times! He’s very funny and into mischief, but sometimes just down right difficult. We are gentle and peaceful parents, and try to have endless patience. This audiobook is perfect for that sentiment.

Everyone should listen this!

This is by far the one single audiobook that ought to be listen by anyone who has children or works with children. It has invaluable information about the way children develop into healthy adults but more importantly, it offers hope and help to children dealing with behavior challenges or trauma. I have personally seen it applied and work miracles in very difficult children. I wish I had read this 20 years ago! I just cannot say enough about the value of this audiobook...

Recommended!

This has been my main audiobook during my pregnancy. What is unique about this audiobook is that it offers perspective on what we can do to promote brain health in the young ones through diet, supplements, toxin reductions and day to day care, which I found very useful and insightful. I would definitely recommend this audiobook as a prerequisite for every pregnant women.

Very helpful

I bought this because my 6 yr old granddaughter has sensory processing disorder. I was looking for a resource that would give strategies we could use to help her cope with day-to-day issues. There are so many good and practical suggestions in this audiobook, I wish we had gotten it sooner. I would recommend this for any parent, relative, or teacher who wants an SPD resource that is easy to read and understand.

Well researched, but easy to listen, everyone with kids or working in childcare should listen this and make changes on its recommendation. Don't be out of by the fact it mentioned autism and adhd etc, the advice is relevant for every child (and adult too for that matter).

happy and productive I become in the long term

The audiobook is very very good, and is very helpful. I am 26 myself but I have greatly benefited from this audiobook as well. The more I reduce the time I spend in front of a screen the more calmer, peaceful, happy and productive I become in the long term. I highly recommend this audiobook for everyone as it is very important to know how sceen time can affect all of us, especially children.

Informative & Helpful, Thank You!

Listen in one sitting, identified with all the characteristics and emotions of this disorder. It has given me confidence to trust my gut feeling that my child's behaviour is serious and asking for help and assessment is a logical step and not a failure!

A must listen....

As a mum of two autistic boys myself I thought I had the t-shirt already but this is a brilliant audiobook jam packed full of information and advice, interspersed with funny and moving personal experience and anecdotes. I wish it had been available years ago as it offers so much help but most importantly hope!
