Publisher's summary

Many people are in the midst of a high conflict court and custody battle with a narcissist. They begin to experience the narcissist’s gas-lighting and wrath in many ways. Not only do they experience this, however. They find that their child is the victim of gaslighting and brainwashing also. The non-narcissist doesn’t realize that the other parent brainwashes the child and triangulates the child against them. Eventually, the child begins to detest and hate the non-narcissistic parent. All the while, the non-narcissistic parent never knows what they did wrong to deserve their own child hating them the way they do.

There is a name for this type of hatred that narcissist breeds in a child toward the non-narcissistic parent. It is called Parental Alienation Syndrome. The child will start to have symptoms of ADHD, autism, oppositional defiant disorder, and pathological demand avoidance. They will not respect the non-narcissistic parent at all. They align with the narcissistic parent because they see that the narcissist often gets that they want out of life by lying, cheating, stealing, bullying, and pushing the boundaries of others.

If you are in the midst of a high conflict divorce or custody battle with a narcissist, you need to listen to J.B. Snow’s divorce court series. In the other books, we show you how to be likeable in court so that you can gain a better edge in the battle against the narcissist. We show you how to negotiate and work with attorneys. We show you how to game the system and survive the battle emotionally so that you won’t fall into a ball of dribbling misery while you are navigating the contentious divorce and custody environment that your ex has created.

In book 14, we discuss the hacks and tools that the narcissist will use in divorce court and custody battles to throw you off kilter. This audiobook talks about how the narcissist throws his children off-kilter. He gaslights them to the point that they don’t know what is real and what is not real. He disorients his children and pushes their boundaries. He blurs the lines for them between what is healthy and unhealthy. The children seek approval naturally from their parent, but they are left with a parent who has no ability to attune to them or guide them to adulthood in any meaningful way.

Hit the nail on the head

What an ah-ha moment. For such a short listen (30 or so minutes) it yields deep insight.

Resonates and thinking court

This was on point and I am scared for them to be adults. Not only did my husband that divorced me. Lie, but he also tried to escape the child support and ended up having four conversations on a messenger, with four different women trying to be serious in a relationship. The 1 of 4 that bit first dating, "I don't know why I'm doing this but." won. She is now REmarried to him and they act as if it was always meant to be. They do suit eachother, for they are the same. I do miss my first blood relatives, my two sons. I wish he didn't do what he d did to me or them. I wish I only had to accept his desire to be free and be capable as a single mother, even though moralistic I do not believe in divorces and told him our wedding day to be sure he was doing this for life because I'm only getting married once. He did AWFUL abusive things. He even tried to kill me. Reading Britney Spears, "The Woman In Me" was chilling. I want my boys home, now. I have not done anything wrong. My ex, and his threatening attorney, have made my life hell, pushed my family away, I have only a couple of friends, and also my children are A)Brainwashed and B) being groomed

I do believe that in all situations, it's the thru m thought that counts. I won't give up. And, God forbid they come back home from the abuses and are disrespectful, I'll know who to blame and not give up. I knew them before they knew themselves. I'm their mom. a Nothing can so that ever in any universe or any which way they throw at my records.

Get ready to take notes

A great listen for me dealing with a coparent like this. I took notes to prepare myself for my child who has to deal with this man.

Very good but need advice

This was good that it helped me put my ex husband’s actions into words and I identified with the information, the however is I would have liked the book to explain how to cope and handle the situation a lot more.

opened up my eyes a bit

lately my daughter has been having some unusually questionable and out of her character behaviors. listening to this, im getting it. i knew a lot about the stuff before though the examples of the younger children hit dead on. i cried like 4 times...in the 30 minutes. a bit nervous for whats still to come.

Very informative

helpful! Insightful behaviors to watch out for as my children age. I don't want them to fall into the guilt.

Look elsewhere

This book sucks! It’s very very brief but it also lacks proper insight and only describes one type of narcissist.

There are much better resources. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
