Publisher's Summary

Every scrapbook tells a story. Memories of friends, family...and murder?

Mousy housewife Kiki Lowenstein has two great loves: scrapbooking and her young daughter, Anya. But her happy family album is ruined when her husband, George, is found naked and dead in a hotel room.

As Kiki tracks down George's murderer, she discovers his sordid secret life. Cruel taunts by George's former flame compel Kiki to spout an unwise threat. When the woman is murdered, Kiki's scissor-sharp words make her the prime suspect. She could be creating scrapbook keepsakes for the rest of her life - behind bars.

Supported by her loyal friends along with a little help (and a lot of stomach flutters) from the dashing Detective Detweiler, can Kiki cut the true killer out of the picture and design a new life for herself and Anya?

Paper,Scissors,Death

This was me of the best Mysteries I have read! The story line was amazing and kept me reading to see who did it! I stayed up all night to finish it. Writing kept me in the middle of the whole storyline until the end. Narration was great, easy to understand and well read. When do we get the second book? I can’t wait!

Cute and edgy

Joanna Campbell Slan is a well rounded writer. Great background for characters, cute romance, and a great mystery to the book. I love the scrapbooking aspect in the book. I used to scrapbook with a friend but since she has passed I haven't been able to. This booked helped! I will be listening again. Nicole Blessing did a great job narrating this book.

Delightful Listen!

Paper, Scissors, Death by Joanna Campbell Slan was so much more than I expected. The author wrote a well plotted book, with characters that intrigued me. Kiki Lowenstein has gone from having it all to losing it all. I loved her integrity and ethic. I found myself pulled into the book from the very beginning. There are some awesome twists in this book! The narration by Nicole Blessing is perfect. She gives various characters distinguishable voices and expresses the right emotions. She really brought them to life with her performance. I definitely will listen to more books by this author and narrator. I hope the author continues to write more about the characters from this book.
