Publisher's Summary

Rook is chasing her dream - film school and a chance at a life beyond the one she ran from six months ago. But before she can become the girl she wants to be, she must deal with the girl she left behind.

Ronin is also chasing his dream - a family of his own and a life away from erotic modeling. And he too, has a past he's trying to forget. A past that makes Rook question everything about their life together.

Lies, secrets, and shocking truths will rock the foundation Rook and Ronin have built. Can they put the past behind them and move forward together? Or is this just another too good to be true relationship that will crash and burn in the end?

Love the Rook and Ronin Series!

Started listening to JA Huss with the taking turns series. that has spun me off into to all the books sometimes starting at the end then desperately jumping to the beginning. I don't even mind my hour long drive time to & from work anymore in stupid Seattle traffic thanks to you Julie. I love these characters I don't even want to listen to there love seenes anymore if that makes sense?? I started listening because of the sex seences in the beginning but i kinda feel like I'm intruding at the end of book 3 Rook & Ronin.
I listened to 123 spin off & now Rook & Ronin. I was looking for a new job because of my drive time but, they should be thanking JA Huss now I love my drive time! and I stopped looking for a new job because I love my & job & I cherish my audiobooks in my car.

Third in the series

Over the crazy world of modeling, Rook takes on a different line of work in an upcoming series with Shrike's Bikes, surroundedby Spencer and... of course F'ing Ford. This new adventure takes her away from Ronin and the Gidget contract... and the notorious Clare Chaput. Their relationship is still somewhat new and Rook is so unsure of herself against Ronin's history with Clare, even if she's proven to be so strong in other aspects of her life.
This third installment puts Rook to the test and really shines a light on Ms. Huss' ability to write suspenseful twists into her romance novels. I am loving the way she creates a world and builds on it throughout all of her closely and loosely related books.
In the audiobook, Troy Duran and Jennifer Reilly pair up again, adding a genuine continuity to all three books so far.

I want more!

Three books on Rook and Ronin aren't enough! What a fantastic series. Great characters, surprising plot twists, steamy sex (pun intended). I could listen to this again and again.

Troy Duran best voice

It’s a good series. Troy has made robin come to life the best in my humble opinion.

Thanks for a good “get away from the real world” story.

Happily Ever After on crack

This is not your typical romance, but it is a brilliant story that makes you feel like you are running through a maze of emotions. so many surprise that will make your stomach turn upside down. Yet, most readers will get their HEA, but I didnt. Not me, because my heart was so broken for Ford. I loved all the characters, but in a twisted way, I was team Ford. The audio is great and the narrator's were fantastic. 5 plus stars on Tragic, Manic and panic. This three books are a must.

JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!

R&R book 3 Panic, WOW!! It has given me a panic attack. Rook and Ronin, how can you handle them? Such twist and turn. The tension between Rook and Ford is insane. I would write more accurate review but I need to go and read and listen to Ford's book.😉

Love It!

The first time I read Panic: Rook and Ronin Book 3 I thought it was the end of the series and I wanted more. Now listening to the audio I know there is more to the story. However, my heart jumped and fluttered, and felt sad and happy at the same time just like it did a couple of years ago. I still love these characters. The story, even though I know everything that happens, is still fresh and makes me want more. My heart still hurts for F’ing Ford. I’m happy for Rook and Ronin and anxious to find out what will happen to Spencer and Ronnie. I want to be on their team too.

Troy Duran and Jennifer Reilly are the perfect narrators for Rook and Ronin. Troy’s words float around in my head in a way that paints a picture of this couple finding their way in the hills of Colorado. Jennifer’s voice is perfect for Rook, a young girl who suffered much while still retaining some of her innocence. I love the way they tell this story that allows me to live it in my imagination.

Julie A. Huss is one of my favorite storytellers. I love the way she takes the romance genre and makes it her own, unique, tale and always adds a twist or two that I don’t see coming. Her characters are flawed yet perfect for the story. Rook and Ronin (all eight books) are one of my all-time favorite series. I will keep these audios on my iPod and listen to them often. I highly recommend the books and the audios. You won’t regret it.

Amazing romantic suspense

What an thrilling end to a fantastic trilogy.
Yes, it has dark themes that some may find too much but I loved every second.
The action never falters with the audiobook enhancing the read.
As always the narrators did a great job.
Can't recommend this enough.
