Publisher's Summary

Note: This book was published in April 2019, well before the current pandemic. It started as a new virus.

Before long, 95 percent of the world's population was dead.

When a deadly flu sweeps the globe, the Bronson family hunkers down to wait it out. It doesn't take long for society to collapse, but when surviving neighbors band together, hope is restored.

That hope is swiftly shattered when a rogue element forms, requiring food in exchange for security and medical services. The Bronsons refuse, but when the group takes over the neighborhood, they demand the Bronsons join or face deadly consequences. With their lives at stake, they must make a decision: give in or take a stand.

Intresting Story

I found the story a bit simple, however totally easy to follow with excellent "potential" learning points regarding how ao many have come to depend on law enforcement always being "there " responding to the most mundane of service calls and how 98% percent of the population would be totally impotent in the face of a true historic disaster!!

Hits a little too close to home

Hard to believe this author wrote this story before the covid outbreak hit our country. It hits a little too close to home for me. The difference is this story is much darker than our real life. People really get desperate in the book, needing food, being willing to kill others to have their needs met & people dying at home. I think Mr. Tell does an excellent job reading the story. I was given a free copy by the author. I am writing a voluntary review.
