I have listen this book and understand the Paleo concepts now. The holiday seasons are not helping me stay on track but as soon as the New Year arrives, I will tackle weight loss with The Paleo Diet.

I gave this book for Paleo beginners.

I gave this book for Paleo beginners to my grand-daughter who is starting paleo and also to a friend. It explains everything about becoming and enjoying being Paleo. I plan on buying more and sharing with anyone who will listen and wants to become healthy.

Paleo! Recommended.

I gave this book to a friend who is just beginning to dabble in the Paleo movement. She followed the advice and recipes and lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks. She reports she loves the book. I think it is a good jumping-off point for those just learning about what this is all about.

Art of Paleo Diet

This is by far the best of the Paleo diet books I've looked at. This book has been written for those of us who just want to get into it with out the professional complex detail. After I listen it I gave it to my wife to listen who agreed that it was simple and easy to understand. If you are a health professional or fitness fanatic, it's probably to lite and simple because you will be looking for all the complex detail.

Very Helpful!

An easy way to diet without actually denying yourself too much. The premiser is that if we eat as our ancestors ate we eat in a healthier manner and avoid all that makes us put on weight. In short , heavy carbs, such as wheat, corn and all grains are out but are substituted by seeds and nuts. Same for legumes and sugars, the latter sustituted by honey, maple syrup etc. It is easy to follow and very tasty.

This book was very helpful to me.

This book was very helpful to me. A short listen but very informational. There are a couple of chapters about facts on the paleo diet and it lists what foods are restricted and what's not. Then the rest of the book is filled with paleo recipes to try. This book is great if you are considering paleo.

Health problems !

Health problems were the reason! This book gives U all the basics.I am 66 & my husband is 80 and we are ready to get rid of foods that are not good for us. Looking to feel much better & improve our health.

Love this book.

Love this book. It's a little overwhelming to try to do a drastic diet change but this book is definitely just like it says...for beginners. It is not overwhelming and is laid out nicely. The recipes are doable without much effort and the ingredients are pretty easy to find. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone, even if your not a beginner because of the recipes in the book.

This is a nice book for anyone considering a Paleo-based diet. Many of the recipes are easy to follow and are comfort-food friendly. Some of the ingredients used are exotic, but many can be found in your favorite grocery store.

Great and easy recipes.

Great and easy recipes for beginning Paleo dieters. I have had a book for a month and have made at least 15 of the recipes. Only one wasn't that good. Some of the rest is just amazing. For the price, you can't beat this book. Great book, worth buying it.

You might be surprised.

I have been attempting to control my weight for years. I switched my diet to the paleo diet and have taken off over 50 lbs. since just after thanksgiving. I am not hungry. I don't deny myself. I also have none of the cravings I experienced on other diets. This is a program I can live with. Give it a try, you might be surprised.

Paleo Die!

This is the most common sense book on dieting available. Humans have survived for millions of years without the industrialized / modern diet. The Paleo diet explains why humans should not eat grain-based products, food additives, preservatives, and genetically modified foods. The modern diet is what is making us sick and killing us.

A Complete Beginner's Guide.

It is what it says, a paleo cookbook for beginners. Includes an explanation on what the paleo diet is and offers some ideas on how to go about creating fitting meals. I wasn't looking to go full paleo diet, just simply needed some high protein low carb healthy meal options and this book gives me lots of those.

Great information!

Great information regarding how the Paleo diet came about, how to get started, and what kind of results you can expect. I found the section on approved and not approved foods, as well as the shopping list, to be very helpful. I have had this book for about a month now and have made several recipes. I haven't been disappointed yet. Some of my favorites are the kale with walnuts and cranberries, teriyaki beef, and baked apples. I would recommend this book for any beginner. It's a great first step.

Interested in the Paleo!

I've been extremely interested in the Paleo lifestyle for a while now, but I honestly knew very little of the facts about it. This book was wonderful because it gave a concise, yet detailed, explanation of every aspect of the diet

A life changer.

Great book, good recipes, easy diet plan to understand. This book provides great, easy to understand and follow information on this multi-phased, highly rated, scientifically supported plan. A great resource for fitness-health coaches!

Healthy Diet!

An easy book to read and has nice recipes. Goes along with other paleo books. Nothing outstanding, but a good book to have if you do paleo, which I do. Gives me other choices for recipes when I get picky about what I want to cook and/or eat. All in all a good basic book.

Great, realistic food plan. Easy to follow.

Wonderfully easy to follow and menus are such a great help! Recipe section also good - items not too complicated to fix and quite tasty. We especially love the crustless pizza! I have already recommended this book to my daughter and she loves it as well. Has listen it cover to cover!

Great beginner's guide!

Great beginner's guide! A very straightforward approach to the Paleo diet. I really like that it doesn't promote high-fat foods or recipes and while it stresses that you don't count calories, it doesn't give the impression that this lifestyle is all bacon and steak. I've tried several of the recipes and each one is better than the last. I love that the recipes.

I exceedingly prescribe it.

I didn't know eating a more advantageous way of life could assist you with your wellbeing. I prescribe tuning in to this book regardless of whether you would prefer not to stop eating so much junk food. This book helped me begin on the Paleo with next to no exertion. I exceedingly prescribe it.
