Love Forever (Scottish Gaelic)

Ailsa Montgomery thought she had everything in life figured out.

After defeating the wolf attempting to kill off Brochan's bloodline, the shifter takes his rightful place as alpha of the Braxley Clan. But what's right isn't always what's good. And soon, the clan splits. Dissent slithers among the family, and it's up to Brochan to keep the clan from falling apart. But, with Ailsa's shifter bite healing and her mind falling apart, Brochan finds himself torn between the love of his life and the love he has for his family.

Can he stitch his clan back together and still hold onto Ailsa? Or will Brochan be forced to choose between the woman he loves and the clan he's meant to lead?

Great ending for Alisa and Brochan

Pack Land, an Audiobook by Lexy Timms is book two in the Highlander Wolf series…and this one too, is a PHENOMENAL story that I couldn’t stop listening to!!! It’s the ending story of Alisa and Brochan. He is now the Alpha of the pack, returning after years away. He wants her to stay with him and be his mate to help him rule. She knows she’s not accepted and there are those who want her gone. But, there’s things she doesn’t know about her life after the bite…and she refuses to accept what is to come…and she doesn’t want to stay. Exciting story and ending!!!

This story was again narrated by Nathaniel Keller….though his interpretation was a little different for this portion of the story….can’t quite express what the difference is…He still gives credibility to the story and the characters. He expresses each character well….adding accuracy and believability the story.

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this Audiobook.

Pack Land

Ailsa and Brochan... they are trying to make it work, but Ailsa feels like she’s losing herself... her independence and individuality. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles in their way, or is it time for Ailsa to run again?

I do enjoy the uniqueness of this story by Lexy Timms. The circle of characters has grown and I can’t wait to see where this adventure takes us next.

Nathaniel Keller delivered another fantastic performance. In case I didn’t mention it before, I love his Scottish accent.

Character Development A++

If you read my review of the first book in this series, you know I was thrilled with how action packed it was. This book is not action packed. However, this book needed to happen in order to convincingly move the series forward. As the main character struggles with her new reality, Timms take you on a tour of her cognitive redevelopment, complete with the internal struggles facing a woman who has suffered emotional abuse. While I wasn’t as raptured by this storyline, it has set up the series in a way that I really appreciate, free of the many character inconsistencies plaguing so many books in this genre. I look forward, even more so now, to the next iteration of the Highlander Wolf Series.
