Helen left school at 17 and showed a tremendous amount of determination and ambition to return to higher education and pursue a career in a field that makes a huge difference to the world around her. Originally from Crystal Palace, Helen now spends her days (in a normal year, at least) travelling up and down the country as part of her work on Awel y Môr and Sofia offshore wind farms.
