Love Ari and the Lost Boys

This is a dark spicy twisted tale of Peter Pan. Ari learns she has been claimed by the lost boys Cyril, Isaac, Asher, Arlo and Ezra when gets her tattoo done. It is than she learns that they save her from someone who wanted to her. And now she is one of them whether she likes it or not. The guys are only bad when they need to be and who knows they might need their Wendy dearly to save them.
Even though their journey is dark twisted and spicy, it is also filled with love. A J Merlin gives incredible characters and storyline. Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby does a remarkable job bring each characters to life. I would definitely recommend this book.

Enjoyed

Owned by the Lost Boys was an enjoyable listen that was semi-dark with some hot scenes between the characters. The narrators did an excellent job voicing the characters. It did take a little bit for it to pick up in my opinion so I did have to somewhat push through the beginning.

Dark Reverse Harem with Wendy and Her Lost Boys

This novel isn't going to speak to everyone. You will probably either really like it, or really not like. It definitely is a very dark reverse harem, with men who call themselves the Lost Boys. There are 5 men in total: Cyril, Isaac, Ashe, Ezra, and Arlo. Each man is very different. Ari was on a trip, and very much had a "Scream" style horror movie encounter. This scared Ari so bad she immediately flew home. That's when the Lost Boys enter Ari's life. The Lost Boys say they saved Ari's life, even though Ari never saw them do it. Now, the Lost Boys say they own Ari. The Lost Boys stake ownership over Ari in a very unique and unexpected way. These Lost Boys are crazy, unhinged, killers, and monsters, who don't know who to compromise. At first, Ari wants as far away as possible. The more time Ari, AKA Wendy Darling, spends with the Lost Boys her feelings change. This novel has a lot of trigger warnings. This novel also has MM and MFM sexual scenes that can be a little kinky, very spicy, and somewhat bloody. My favorite quote was when Ari asked the Lost Boys what they wanted with her, and their reply was "Everything." Even everything would probably be too little for the Lost Boys.

One of my new favorite books!!

I will be raving about this one for a while. It’s absolutely amazing. Deliciously dark, but with a tender edge. Ari isn’t a typical heroine, she loves horror movies and doesn’t shy away from blood and gore. I adored her character and the bonds she built with each of the lost boys. This twist on Peter Pan is a must listen and beautifully performed by Allyson and Tyler who capture their characters perfectly. I hope there may be a peak into this one in the future as a bonus novella somewhere! I’m not ready to let them all go quite yet.

Amazing Dark Poly Romance

This has been one of my favorite listens recently. At first, I didn't care for the FMC voice, but I continued listening anyways and I'm glad I did. I ended up enjoying both voices for this book but did find that there was some open room sound for the female voice. Im not sure how else to explain the sound quality. It wasn't too distracting to me, though, and I listened to the entire book.

Now.... this book. THIS BOOK! I have never read anything by AJ Merlin prior, but I have since added all of their books to my TBR! This is a dark poly romance, and I enjoyed all of the characters involved. The level of detail was good, and there were no plot holes that I noticed. I loved the small references to Peter Pan. This is not a retelling, though, in my opinion. There are just some references and I enjoyed them. There was also a good amount of praise, and I'm a huge sucker for praise. 🥵

My heat rating is based on the amount of occurrence, length of scenes, how explicit the scenes are, and how filthy/unconventional the scenes are. I think I would give this around a 4/5.

So sexy and fun.

Whew! I read alot of romance. And I have to say this is one of the sexiest books I've ever read. These Lost Boys rule the city as the coolest of cucumbers. They are so laid back and soooo sexy. They were all abused as kids. They are messed up, but were "saved" by Cyril.
Ari is such a neat character. She really holds her own with the boys. She is truly their Wendy Darling.
I listened to an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. I think a huge part of my enjoyment from this story came from the incredible performances of the two narrators. Tyler Darby and Allyson Voller. Especially Tyler. He doesn't have different voices for each boy, but his voice is so sexy and yummy..........5 stars for them as well.

Love this book!

I love this book and I've listened to it several times now! I hope there is eventually a part 2 because I would like to see Ari out doing more of the "sketchy shit" with The Lost Boys, helping with missions, and getting closer with each of the guys.

I enjoyed this book, and boy, was it steamy!
Definitely a hot tamale train here! No angst, lots of violence, and excellent narration make this book a worthwhile listen. The narration is excellent! They make the story that much more enjoyable because they sound so believable as the characters. Worth the credit!

RH Dark Romance

Owned By The Lost Boys by AJ Merlin is a standalone why choose dark romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby.

I originally read this book when it was first released and was so excited to see it come to life in audio.

I absolutely love AJ's books! I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Ari, Cyril, Isaac, Ashe, Ezra, and Arlo.

I know the book is a standalone, but I loved the characters and would love to get more of their story.

Allyson and Tyler did a great job on the duet narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, reverse harem romances, or romantic suspense.
